Watching Olympic men's diving with my 4 year old DS and he thinks it's so silly everyone forgot to wear their bathing suits and had to swim in their underwear 😂

I do all the night wake ups with the baby. They're quick and easy. H does night wake ups with the 2 year old. There's less of those, but they're much more frustrating!

I woke up late for boot camp to a screaming baby and no power. I scrambled to get ready in like 3 minutes in the dark, but I made it! H goes to the class before me so he pulls up and I run out. Glad I went!
Last night after I put DS to bed, DH and I went out on our patio, had some wine, and just talked. No TV, no phones. It was so nice! We discussed our jobs, me possibly going back to school, our dreams, what we love about being parents, how our communication has improved in the last few weeks... We agreed that we need to set aside time to do this once a week!
jags8 that sounds so nice. By the time we get the kids to bed we each clean a bit then head to bed. We definitely need to try to set aside some time like that.

Yep I usually wash bottles/pump parts, make sure DS's diaper bag is packed for the next day, and pick up a bit. But last night we were like "nope!"
Apparently DH needs to work late, and we have very few food options in the house. This will be a fun night. Hangry todlers are always easy to deal with

So...is anyone else dealing with a sleep regression?
Holy heck yes!!
LO has woken every two hours for the past two weeks. I am SO broken. He's only 3.5 months so it seems too early but maybe being two weeks overdue adjusts things?

This was us tonight! I usually hear from H around 5:30, but he lost track of time and it was 6:20 before he called. We are out of milk!
Lots of late husbands tonight. Mine said 5:30/6 when he had one job left. Well now a slow moving storm is coming through and he is stuck in traffic. Hoping he makes it home by 7
I have food for dinner but don't really want to make it....
Maybe our H's can all bring home take out?
I have a turkey tenderloin I just threw in the oven and H us bringing home a salad kit. Minimal effort going on here.

Oh no, no milk would be a guaranteed melt down here

OK seriously as I wrote that he asked for milk...I'm also trying to get the baby down. He's now disappeared, I'm hoping he's not getting in too much trouble...

Haha, of course! Good luck, dissapeared and quiet is always a bad thing with toddlers

I remembered the oven was on so I made a mad dash to find him. He found and emptied a big tub of yogurt on the kitchen floor. Could be better, could be worse
I met someone last night who has a kid who is only 17 lbs at 14 months. Some of you all have 17 pounders.
My daughter and my cousin's son are exactly 2 years apart. My daughter (3) is 28.6 pounds (like 25%) and her son (1) is 30 pounds (like 99.9999999%)!
The girl I nanny was 30 lbs at her one year check-up! All three kids were very solid babies/toddlers. Then once they hit 3ish, they turn into string beans!
