1. The title should be "fewer" since it's something you could count. Whatever.
2. Today is my 7 year friend-versary with my husband on facebook. No cute slideshow of memories, we are both super private on there.
3. I have been sooooo lazy lately.

4. I ordered some bigger boy puzzles for BBQ today. He has been blowing through his.
5. Time to clean up snack/lunch mess while he is still asleep, I guess.

1. I'm probably the one person in the world who hates Mondays because it's my only day off and my H does not do a damn thing over the weekends.
2. H stayed home today so we did nothing much together and now I'm cranky.
3. Sent H to grocery store for beer and diapers.
4. LO is such a riot! He certainly keeps me on my toes. Just love him
5. I wish I could be a SAHM but I also do love my job especially when I work 8:30-3!
6. I am dreading back to school because it means I have to work past 3pm and days will be getting shorter and winter is coming. :-(
7. I hate all things pumpkin.
8. Actually, I'm not fond of anything fall related except Octoberfest and Thanksgiving.
9. AF was due today and isn't here, but I got a BFN.
10. I'm obsessed wth the Olympics!

1. I suck at keeping up with y'all since DS3 was born.
2. 6 days until DS1 and DS2 go back to school, not that I'm counting.
3. I spent way too much on school clothes and groceries this week, and it's only Monday.
4. I wish I had the dedication to lose this excess weight, but I just love chocolate and soda and everything else that's bad for you.
5. I really miss running. I can't imagine where I would get the energy or time to start again.
6. I ordered a new planner the other day. Hoping it will help me stay on track with daily and weekly tasks.
7. Still not sure how we're going to do drop off and pick up for school with the boys going to different schools on opposite sides of town...
8. I love the sound of rain on the roof. Wish I had a tin roof - that is one of the best sounds ever.
9. I feel like my life is a big question mark right now. Have another baby or doe with babies? Get a full time job or do photography full-time? DH look for a new job or stick this one out? Put DS3 in mothers day out program or keep him at home? So many questions and I feel like I don't have the right answer for any of them...
10. I should be on a boat right now, cruising through the western Caribbean, but we had to cancel due to finances... Maybe next year...

1. Damn Kiki La Rue for having another sale. I had 2 orders before noon today. If you have never heard of them look them up - they use real people to model the clothes so you know what it's going to look like on and even gives you their measurements. Everything looks good on someone whose a size 0 and Lord knows I'm not a size 0.
2. We are going through the 6 week growth spurt and were up from 12:30 to 6 am.
3. H cooked bacon wrapped scallops - I'm in heaven.
4. Getting my hair done today, first time since pregnancy and I'm ridiculously excited about it
5. H will be gone this weekend so it will be me alone with little miss.
6. It is really hard to type with one hand on the phone at 3 am so I'm cutting it short

1. Teething can go to hell.
2. I think Superman is channeling Satan.
3. My house is a disaster zone and it's not even my mess!! H's camping shit is everywhere, but I will be expected to clean it up.
4. W is going to be six months next week. I can't even.
5. W takes his teethers very seriously. He expects us to do the same.
6. Yesterday showed me I am woefully unprepared for all that is the teething baby.
7. H left me with a Honey Do list today, I almost laughed in his face.
8. Has anyone figured out how to mainline coffee?
9. I had a brilliant idea for a book series, but, sadly, my writing skills are not up to par.
10. My kid is the boss of me. It's pretty scary how easily he manipulates me.

1. My keurig didn't work this morning.

2. Thank goodness I have access to coffee at work

3. DD1 stayed at ILs the past two nights...I've both missed her and enjoyed the ease of only having DD2

4. DD1 stars kindergarten next week....😢

5. The house is a mess, yet I felt so accomplished after I washed the tub and finally put the basket of socks/underwear away over the weekend

6. I told DH that I want to quit my job to become a goat cheese maker and micro greens farmer

7. I was only somewhat joking about it

8. Searching for a part-time job that fits my list of criteria is exhausting and frustrating

9. My job requires working with people dealing with really difficult things health/death related

10. I'm too introverted and emotional to want to deal with people in this capacity every day at this point in my life...I need something lighter

1. chknma, Our coffee grinder broke this morning. I nearly cried. Fortunately, we have a handheld one we use to grind spices so I didn't have to chew whole coffee beans.
2. jenn83, I will have to check out Kiki La Rue, sounds great. (I also just read your siggie for the first time, and I now have big tears in my eyes. Big hugs and congrats on your sweet rainbow.)
3. I made lemon blueberry pound cake yesterday, and it is the bomb.
4. R. moved into the 2-year-old room at daycare today. I was worried, but he did great. He saw all his old buddies who moved up a few months ago, so he settled right in. Phew.
5. I can feel fall coming, and that feels a little bittersweet.
6. We had R's birthday party this past Sunday at a splash park. He had a great time. I get really stressed out when I host anything, so I really need to work on that.
7. I have a case of the Tuesdays.

1. I was so uncomfortable last night and woke up from 3:30-6. Got up for the day at 7.

2. I'm totally going out to lunch today.

3. I really want to put L in a mother's day out program and in gymnastics class. But, I don't think we can afford both.

4. I've made no progress of painting the nursery in days. I had planned to work on it during L's nap today but I'm going to need a nap, too.

5. I'm making a new curry chicken recipe tomorrow night for dinner. I'm excited for something different!

6. L threw up on the couch earlier. Not from being sick, but because she ate and drank a lot and then slammed her belly into the couch because she's wild.

7. I got my tdap shot yesterday and my arm is still sore today.

8. It's been really rainy lately which is nice, but L likes to run around the back. Staying inside sucks.

9. DH went back to work this week. We miss him.

10. L amazes me every day. She's just so funny, smart, and kind.

1. I put J down for a really late nap today... hopefully she still take a full nap and isn't awake after 40 minutes
2. My kid is going to be 2 years old on Thursday - crazy cakes
3. She talks about herself in the 3rd person and it cracks me up
4. I was planning to make myself some afternoon (decaf) coffee but I'm being lazy. I mean, all I have to do is dump the already ground beans into the thing, add water, and turn on the stove. Quite lazy.

6. I was working hard on losing weight earlier this year and I think I gained some back
7. Time to get back to paying attention to what I eat
8. I made an appointment to get my IUD out next month
9. I think I'm going to make funfetti cake for J's birthday party this weekend
10. My brother is getting married and neither myself nor my husband were asked to be in the wedding - but his fiancee's 3 siblings are all in it. We aren't super close but I didn't think we were on bad terms; now I'm not sure.

4. J had a horrible night sleep last night, so we did, too. I'm exhausted, which sucks because...

5. MH and I are both fighting a cold. Lame-o.

6. This weekend we're hosting our godson's baptism party. The menu includes fried chicken, mac-and-cheese, veggies, coleslaw, potato salad, chocolate cake, and a side of heartburn for me.

7. I think I may make cucumber salad, too (the sour cream and dill kind). You know... to ease the burn.

8. I painted my nails yesterday because they're super long right now (a rare thing for me), and they look so nice. Reminds me why I used to do this frequently.

9. Then I remembered I barely wear makeup anymore. Or do anything fun with my hair. When did I suddenly stop caring? Well, I care, but I stopped putting effort into ME. After J was born I had to get back in the habit of taking pride in my appearance again.

10. That's it... tomorrow I'm wearing makeup. At least it'll cover the recent bought of hormone acne I'm dealing with. Mascara, here I come!

I cant remember the last time I painted my nails. My wedding?? (Seven years ago.) 

I care, too, but I have found looking good confoundingly difficult as I get older. I really have no idea where to start, even.

2redtulips, same here....last time painted my nails, five years ago for my wedding! Same with wearing makeup. Never have, doubt I ever will. Eye makeup bothers my eyes anyway. I consider getting a shower and dressed in clothes without stains as "dressing up". Heck,maybe wearing a necklace?

oldbaylover1024 the last time I wore makeup was my wedding in 2011, and before that was senior prom 2002. At prom it was my sister's makeup and even shades too light. Frumpy and proud.

I used to love getting dolled up - makeup, spiffy jewelry, etc. - but I also work in an environment that's kind of dressy so it was naturally part of my routine. After J was born, I stopped putting any effort into my appearance. Like didn't do anything. I think part of that was PPD. I forced myself to start "trying" again and it really help. Just the 15 minutes for hair and makeup daily was valuable "me" time and I started to feel better.

Lately I've been kind of down and realized I haven't been putting in the effort. The past few days I've done my hair and makeup and feel a lot brighter.

I grew up never wearing makeup. That didn't start til college. I used to bite my nails, and started painting them to avoid the biting. Seemed to work!

oldbaylover1024, I definitely like the boost I get from wearing makeup or putting on nice clothes. For me, I just have mysteriously lost the ability to figure out what looks good on me anymore! Clothes, hair and makeup are all really challenging for me now that I am on this side of 40. I need a personal stylist or something.

I did my nails obsessively as a teen, so that's something I won't bring back. I just lost the desire to spend the time on my nails.
