QOTW: I'm on vacation this week and finally able to do a little non-school related reading. So tell me, what's your all-time favorite book (or books if you can't pick just one)?

I might be jinxing myself by saying this, but I think I finally ovulated yesterday! Just in time too, I was getting ready to post a crazy train thread.
Fingers crossed temps rise tomorrow and the next few days.
QOTW: wow, it's hard to pick a favorite book! Les Miserables, and the Sir John Fielding series by Bruce Alexander.
Met with my OB Monday. I had so much anxiety in the waiting room! (her office is where we found out our daughter died). So I shared about my short LP and she said it could be three things. -Thyroid. So we are checking my levels -Progesterone, which is what I think it is. She gave me a prescription for it for after I O, vaginally. -Weight. Pretty self explanatory. I know this does have an impact on fertility.
I feel good about our plan. If the progesterone doesn't work, we'll look at clomid but hopefully won't need that. I also didn't O this month which was really odd, but I figured out that it was the progesterone oil from young living that I was using that stopped me from ovulating. My friend just said to use it every day of my cycle, but my OB said it will stop you from Oing if used before. So I stopped, and finally got my pos OPK yesterday, though my temp didn't rise today which is odd. we'll see. I'll start using progesterone three days after my pos OPK.
QOTW: Hard to pick. I love harry potter, and his dark materials series. I also like classics like catcher in the rye. I've enjoyed The Help, Lovely Bones, anything stephan King,

iheartbroccoli, yay for Oing and avoiding a crazy train trip!
@shandorflm2 - glad they are doing further testing. It seems like you had a history of wonky cycles?
AFM, I should have all my pre-requisite testing completed next week. Our FET plan is staying the same as last cycle with the exception of adding vaginal eat race before my lining check instead of after - since I always need it.
We are looking at doing an endometrial scratch this cycle which would have transfer next cycle.
The donor coordinator did call to let me know she kinda doesn't like the embryos that had PGS testing done on them and wants to select different embryos for us. Okay then.

therealbug, yep, I have PCOS. Was on BCP for a while and they were regulated, but now short LP which has never been an issue with me. This cycle I'm not sure if I actually Od. My temps were flat lined, got my pos OPK three days ago and temps didn't rise like normal. had a dip this morning but all my O signs were a few days ago. So I'm taking the progesterone anyway..but I don't have much hope. My TSH came back normal, and I was offered clomid. I'll see what this cycle does and go from there.

shandorfml2, do you know what your TSH was? Mine was technically normal too but my RE said even though it's normal it was higher than he liked for TTC. Mine was around 4 and my RE wants it under 2.5 for TTC.

shandorfml2 , I'm going to echo cali , here. TSH should be between 1-2 for ttc purposes, and ideally closer to 1. If you do decide to pursue medicated cycles - seek out a RE. They will do additional fertility testing first to make sure nothing else is being overlooked, and can monitor you properly on Clomid etc. to make sure the meds are working the way they should.

grneyes, cali, thanks ladies I do not know the number, but can ask. Since it was my OB who ran it, I'd like to think she knows the ideal range for TTC...but you never know!

shandorfml2, I would definitely ask. My OB had checked and had told me mine was fine. It wasn't til I saw an RE that I found out it was a problem (I have since switched OBs).
