I know a lot of us are unable to travel at the moment or do anything remotely exciting. If you could do or go anywhere what would you do (and children were 100% taken care of)?
I'm already planning my first Disneyland trip with LO! I think we're going to try to go when he's 1 even though it'll just be for me and DH and he won't remember anything.
GOmamab15 my cousin works for Disney so she gets free tickets so we took Ds when he turned 1. We went on maybe 3 rides but it was still fun. For ds's 3rd birthday we're going again in October ds2 will be 4 months. I think it's totally worth going if you love Disney. Fun experience even if they don't remember.
mladerri that's awesome! I have one of those cousins too, although he's actually my mom's cousin's son so not sure what relation that makes him to me-- We got free tix once.

Nice! I think we might go for our 10th anniversary in October 2017. LO will be 1.5ish. I am already planning a family trip (with my parents and all) for her third birthday.
DH and I have been talking about doing Hawaii for our 10th (we just had our 8th). I want to not have a newborn or be pregnant, however, so since we want a second soon we might save it for 15th. We are on the east coast, so to make it worth the trip we'd want to go for a week or more. White sand beaches, tropical drinks... Sounds amazing right now! I miss travel a lot. I know we could travel with a baby, but baby expenses mean we are not saving a lot at all, let alone for big splurges like plane tickets.
DH and I want to take the kids on trips to see national parks. We will probably take our first trip a few years from now and make it a yearly tradition.
We are already planning our retirement. We plan to buy an RV and hit the road. We'll stay at each place until we get bored and then we'll move on to somewhere else. I'm not sure how much of the year we'll travel. I guess it depends on how homesick I get and what else is going on with our family.
Definitely Hawaii. I've never been. It's really far from the East Coast so I don't see us going anytime soon. I can't imagine traveling that far on a plane with a baby. I also would love to go to Napa, CA again. I went in 2015 and loved it.

You may be surprised at what they remember. We went the first time just before DS turned three and again Kaur before he turned four and at 4.5 he still remembers both trips and can say what we did in each trip. He loved it and before three they're free!

Oh goodness, my list is long. To name a few:
Backpack the Laugavegur Trail in Iceland Safari in South Africa Trip to France: Paris and the Loire valley Travel to the South Pacific: Tahiti, Bora Bora, or the marquesas islands. Many National Parks including: Denali, Olympic, Rocky Mountain, Canyonlands, Grand Tetons, Yosemite, Mt. Ranier Hike the John Muir Trail Hike the West Highland Way in Scotland Visit the Alps
We also want to buy an RV when we retire, maybe even before then.
