So I activated cable at our house and then realized the day we moved in that there are no cable jacks here. GAH. So I called Comcast and the earliest they can send a tech here is the 30th. DOUBLE GAH.
It took me 2 days and a suggestion from runningmommy519 to realize that I could set up our Xbox and play DVDs for the kids so I could get some time to unpack. Pregnancy brain is REAL...
tmclawchick do you have much left at the apartment? Will each of the kids have their own room?
There's a decent amount of crap back at our apartment, but I plan on donating or ditching most of it. Our lease is up at the end of September so I'll be packing things up and making trips once school starts. Our house is a 3 BR so Frankie and Nora have their own rooms. Once LO #3 comes he/she will start off in our room and then likely move to Nora's room. I feel like it's important for Frankie to have his own space since he's older you know?

If you have netflix, you can also play from Xbox. If you don't I think you can get a free trial for 30 days! Assuming you have Internet that is!

We ended up going to a moms club event. It was at this indoor playground place that also had a small place fur babies age toddlers. And for really old kids they had tv's with video games. They also had an arcade. It was fun!

Hi Laverne. I'm good. I'm 28w2d now! And E's birthday was 2 weeks ago. This pregnancy has been easier for me than the first (so far). I had a few issues in the beginning - a hematoma and complete previa but both resolved. I'm iron-deficient this time but don't have gestational diabetes like with E so I am enjoying all the carbs.
E is so sweet and also sleeping much better these days, at least most of the time. DH is good as well!
I'm going to nursing school online so I'll be home with babies for the next 18 months or so.
amberlie, nursing, thats awesome, we keep encouraging dd to go in that direction. Things are really slow with me, i need to get out and make irl friends but its hard. I will be glad when school starts again, I need a schedule.
Laverne yeah I'm excited! I want to go to law school ultimately... but I just won't have the time with 2u2. I think I'll enjoy nursing. I love to help people. So I'll finish that up in 2018 and then we are planning a move to PA. Cannot do texas heat anymore. Then maybe later when babies are in school I'll do law school if it's still something I want.
I understand on the schedule! E and I have pretty much no schedule and it usually doesn't bother me but can be stressful at times. I only have 2-3 friends IRL and DH & I share a car so I spend 90% of my time home with E. Hopefully we will get a second car in the next couple of months.. no way a second carseat is going to fit into the one we have now. But then I'll be able to go places.
Hey amberlie! !! How are things? Eta: I see it's been answered. Nursing school sounds like a good choice. I'm glad this pregnancy is going so well for you. How's little E doing? I'm glad she's sleeping well.
Today has been long. A lot of getting w on and out of the carseat which he hates. Now he's napping and I'm trying to figure out dinner. I got to see ampaints for lunch though and that was pretty great and W gave her kisses. So jealous.
E is good packmomma! She's not walking, but pulling up on all the things. She does "cheers" with her sippy cup and recently started dancing and saying uh oh. She also has 9 teeth.. the molar nearly killed us both. But she's a happy baby (toddler) overall. I'm excited to see her interact with her sister.

M had his one year check up and needles today. He is 24 lbs and 30.5 inches (90th for weight and 75th for height) . His needles were horrible and it broke my heart. Normally I'm pretty even with that stuff but today I almost cried. M had a longer afternoon nap, but so far seems okay. In fact he has been practicing his new skills of going down the stairs. It is super adorable to see him problem solve (also excruciating to watch because I want to help, but he likes to figure it out). I love that right now I have all the time in the world to watch him figure these things out! Dreading the hectic life in a couple of weeks when I'm back to work

Me, about to fall asleep on the couch. H says loudly, "A should get up. If he naps too long he won't sleep tonight." Proceeds to get A and tells older two I will take them swimming.
What the fuck happened to my nap? When baby sleeps like shit tonight, I will be telling H I told you so. No sex tonight.

Sigh, so our basement has a massive flood from heavy rain today . Inches throughout the majority of the basement. Carpet is soaked. FML. Bright side is we most likely will put new flooring in, which we have talked about doing for a while. Just didn't expect to do this right now. So.much.work.
