I'm not sure why Rowan and I even went to bed last night. He was up 2 an hour almost all night. He was super angry every time he woke up too. Every time he's been sick before it's never effected his sleep a lot (probably because it's always bad) but it was horrible last night. I even gave him Tylenol before bed last night. I got up with him at 5 because what's the point.
And he's been in a wonderful mood since we got up. WTF?

I'm celebrating because I got C to sleep in her crib last night in a really decent amount of time with no tears and she's still asleep... But my boobs hate me. Hate me. If she took a bottle I would pump... But alas.

So the gift I have been eyeing for EG's first birthday is on sale at ToysRUs right now. I also purchased a $20 TRU gift card for $10 on Groupon, so I got it for a total of $40 off regular price. And, it's one less thing to stress about later on!

What did you get??
Power Wheels Minnie Mouse Lil Quad Ride On. The description says 12 months-3 years so it should be a good toy to grow with her.
HelgaHuffle I'm so sorry for your bad night ! We had one of those when DD1 had hand foot mouth last week. it's hard enough to regularly have poor sleep but even harder when it's worse!
@gdaisy praying hard for you, that is a long drive! Hopefully you have some good places to stop along the way!
spidermonkeymama that's great she slept in her crib. My friend's son won't take a bottle either but she makes breast milk pops for teething.
thatgirlrachel our neighbors gave us one when my DD was about 18 months and she got that hang of it no problem and still loves it! She's 2.5
As for us, we are going to carters today because the baby needs new pajamas. The toddler is making it her mission today to keep the baby from napping. Fortunately H has 1/2 days on Fridays during the summer so he will be home at 12:30!
Last day at camp for us. DH and I took a nap time excursion to the top of Mt Washington yesterday, Clara woke up in time for the drive down. We were up in the clouds which was really neat.
spidermonkeymama I think we might do story land in the morning before heading south
I started reading Thursday randoms thinking it was Thursday. This week has gone by so fast!
We bought a house yesterday. It requires renos, which we've done before. But not with a 3 year old and 7 mos old in tow. Hopefully everything goes as planned...

Well I can't put it off any longer: time to lower the crib. Tonight. Went in to get her this morning and she was sitting up, very proud of herself. She's been doing it on the floor for a couple days. I knew it was only a matter of time. Bye bye beautiful dust ruffle. (Sorry third kid. I'm more sad about the dust ruffle.)
So glad it's Friday. We are all pretty much over our colds. Everyone has some lingering things and there's still the possibility of DS getting more sick, but I think we're out of the woods. For now. 1st school sickness this year in the record books.
M had a blowout down his leg while we were out to lunch today. Luckily it somehow only got on his pants, not his onesie. We needed to go to the vital records office at our county building so I just popped him in the ergo. Sorry my kid wasn't wearing pants.
Also, we were supposed to have his daycare family picnic tonight. Due to the forcasted rain they decided to move it to the daycare from the park. Do not want to eat hot dogs in tiny chairs. We are staying home and snuggling
Congrats COCO!! What kind of renos? I love renos. As long as they're not mine. Lol
The plan is to reno all of it. First phase is new kitchen, including removing the wall between kitchen and living room, and flooring and maybe some paint and removing popcorn ceilings. Next will be bathrooms then window blinds then new doors then landscaping. I probably won't be without something to do until 2019. Lol
RoLaMa that made me giggle. Reminds me of the time DD had a major blow out while we were waiting for our food at a BBQ restaurant. DD sat in nothing but a diaper and bib while we ate. It was ridiculous.
If we are home he is never in pants. But I do put him in pants when we go out. I am really glad he was wearing pants or the highchair would have needed to be burned
A month or so ago I drove my cousin to the Dr a few towns over and DD exploded. From her ankles to her shoulders and some on her car seat. I have no idea where it kept coming from! To make it worse we were at a burger king that didn't have a changing station so I had to clean her up in the back seat. It started pouring rain halfway through the clean up. It was hilarious after. Definitely not during lol, but after.
Could not wait to get home to bathe her and wash the car seat cover.
