Easy Peanut Butter Cookies: 1 1/4 cup peanut butter 3/4 cup sugar 1 egg
Preheat oven to 350, mix all ingredients and drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet. Use a fork dipped in sugar to press a crisscross pattern into each cookie. Bake 8 minutes.
I've heard about this and it kinda blows my mind... seems like so many necessary ingredients are missing! Any idea if this would work with all-natural style peanut butter (only ingredients are peanuts and salt)?

I've made this recipe and was shocked that it "worked". I took the cookies to a friend's house and got a lot of compliments on how good they were. If you like pb cookies, I definitely recommend trying these.
This just popped into my head and I'm putting it here so I don't forget it: when fall weather gets here can we have a chili recipe thread? I love mine but always love trying others.

+1
And a vegetable soup thread. I love it but haven't mastered a good recipe yet.

This thread just makes me think about what a pain my H is about food. I have the sads. I was reading through like, oooo yes chili! And soups! And then I remembered it would just be for me. My kids would probably eat bits and pieces. Can't get anyone to eat a kidney bean yet

MH won't eat beans, it drives me nuts. I use 6 kinds in my chili. I actually use 2 crockpots, divide all the ingredients evenly between the two and then just add beans to one. He's missing out! Do what I do - make it anyway and just freeze a bunch of individual servings for your lunches/nights when you're on your own for dinner.

Martha Stewart has one that is amazing (chocolate chips included. I've made another that uses a combo of sugar & brown sugar that's even better). I think baking soda is necessary.
DoesItComeInPink, I love soup. We actually had salmon stew for supper the other night...in August. I definitely look forward to these threads!
Salmon stew sounds delicious! Share share share!
It is delicious! And super easy.
1 can of salmon - remove bones Milk - you can use however much you want for whatever amount of stew you want to make. Butter - lots of butter Salt and pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients in pot on med-high heat. Stir frequently to to avoid burning the milk on the bottom. I have to do a lot of taste tests to get just enough butter, salt and pepper because I don't measure anything.
We eat ours with crystal hot sauce and saltine crackers. Aaand now my mouth is watering!
This is my go-to recipe for new moms, etc. when I take a meal. The nice thing is that it makes twice as much so I usually end up with one for us too. And it freezes well. I buy pre-made crust, a rotisserie chicken, and pre-chopped veggies to make it easier.
obscurereference, my husband is SO picky too. Does not like beans and I have to literally blend veggies into a puree to get them into stuff.
I have a couple of quick easy faves but as I was typing I realized that I can't remember any of the specific measurements for the ingredients! I'll have to come back.
