I'm ready to go home and restart my day. Was just run off the road and came within 2 inches of being sideswiped by a fucking coach bus. We even had to get out and check my car, that's how close this was. People need to pay attention to the mother fucking road.

How is it Monday already? Stop it.
We spent yesterday buying lawn equipment and tackling yard work. So much adulting! Also after doing a lap around the home improvement store DH now thinks he's Bob Villa and has a list of projects he wants to do. First up is making a barn door for the laundry room. At the very least it should be entertaining
Today is packet pickup and school picture day at DS's school. First day of school is a week from tomorrow! 1st grade already, time is flying.
Triplets ampaints @janetheconquerer. C had me up from 2 until 4-something. Alarm goes off at 5. New intern starts today and I have to finish a project that will be seen by the top ranking attorney in our agency.
Drank too many glasses of wine, so was so confused when baby got up at 6. Like normal time, but I was so confused. Coffee helped! Lol!
We have M's first visit with the home childcare provider this morning after his nap. Will aim to leave him for an hour or so. Then second visit will be Wednesday for a half day. I'm not going to lie, I feel very sad about this. I know he will love it, and our new normal is coming, I just don't wanna.

Three days of work this week and then off for 5! Once again I'm on time but everyone else is late. Normally that is okay when I'm at my normal campus because I can get in the library. Here though, I don't have a key. At least I have coffee and HP7 audiobook. Happy Monday!
I will say this, I am glad it's a new week. Last week left a bad taste for me, I lost sleep over everything and it was just ughhh. I am ready to start a new this week.
@janetheconquerer bad taste from TCF/FB fiasco or just life in general? New weeks are definitely good for providing new perspective and a sense of a fresh start!

@betweenthelines, so scary. Glad you're okay. The bus drivers around here don't seem to look for other traffic and just assume we'll let them in because they're huge. Sorry you started your day avoiding an accident with a dipshit driver.
And it would've REALLY sucked if he hit me because it's not even my car. It's my moms nice Infiniti. She drives my car because she does DC drop off and can't fit the 2 car seats in her's.
So I haven't been talking about it lately, but job drama is still going on. At the start of this month I was told that there won't be a follow conversation until after this month. I was also told something about a possible new position, but nothing has come of it so far. So I've got 3 days left to hit my numbers. I'm just going to work through and do the best I can, try not to stress about it because I've got enough to worry about. I'm trying to think of it as if I get fired them I'll have more time to look for a better job because it takes a while to fill out applications!

Night weaning can eat a bag of dicks. I moved to the couch to spare dh (he took first shift), and ds2 came looking for me and laid on my feet while ds3 slept on my chest. Ds1 came down at some point and tried to join.
New advice: when pregnant with first child, upgrade to a king size bed and get a sectional couch.

Can I just say how lovely it is to be able to send DS out to the backyard to play? We've mainly lived in apartment complexes so going outside entailed me getting DD ready and all of us heading out. I'm sitting at the kitchen table watching him through the glass doors...this is fan-freaking-tastic!

So I had a great Target experience yesterday. I had a list of some random things. We get to checkout and Little Bones likes to put things on the belt. So he's turning around and getting things from the basket and on the the belt. I ask her to price check something that I found in clearance but weren't marked. I start panicking that he is going to start acting up because I have no idea how long this is going to take.
Little Bones starts going through my purse looking for my wallet so he can "help pay." Cashier gives him an empty gift card which he proudly swipes and then a "receipt." Dude was so proud of himself.
I'm hanging on to the gift card for dear life. It was a brilliant idea. I'm going to start hanging onto to empty cards for this reason.
I typically change DS1 out of his PJs downstairs. If he doesn't like the shirt I've grabbed, I've sent him upstairs to put it back and grab the shirt he does want. It's so nice.
So my new job is a work on progress for my job duties. I have hit the point to where I need more to do. How do I say so in a way that doesn't sound like, I'm bored I have nothing to do?
