ampaints M sleeps like that all the time!! SO adorable. Sometimes I go in and move his legs straight because he will wake up with red knees, but not before I snap a picture first! Lol. PS sorry about school.

packmomma sorry W is not feeling well. When did he have his vaccines? Our dr said symptoms could be up to 10 days after. Either way a fussy baby will not make a fun bday for anyone.

shellyr sounds like a perfect first day of your delayed mat leave! Enjoy every moment! I may have missed it, but what kind of medical training have you completed? I can't imagine being in school for that long!! You should feel very proud!

So day one of our mini vacation has been a success. After a delayed start, and 3 shirt changes (for DS1...who is almost 17 years old and managed to spill a yogurt tube on his shirt not once but twice before getting to the end of our street! Lol). M was so great all day, in the car, putting up with lots of shopping and the baseball game, including a fireworks display afterwards! Even though we were only across boarder for the day we managed to smuggle some shopping back! Didn't hit up any liquor spots, but oh well. Now i'm still in the hotel watching stupid TV, having a beer and eating all the snacks while DH and DS1 have gone walking downtown Niagara Falls to check out the sites. Off to bed soon!

I have a follow-up consultation from my allergist appointment last week. It completely baffles me why we couldn't just go over my results right after my allergy panel last week - it's not like he had to wait for any blood work to come back or anything. Just a way to get me to pay more for another visit, I guess! Ah well, should be interesting.
@janetheconquerer I don't think we're going to get the brunt of it. I keep getting weather alerts on my phone, but it's still for a good bit south of us.
I'm meeting H in the city for dinner with some friends after work and dressed nice. I'm laughing at the fact that I must really look like a bum every other day to be getting this many compliments today. It's just way too much extra work.

Last night, ds1 and 2 are fighting over a chair. I put chair outside and serve dinner. This morning, evryone wakes up at 5:30. I see chair outside, it has rained, so I bring it in. Ds2 wants to use my kitchen towel to dry it off immediately. I tell him to finish his breakfast. Cue hysteria. I put chair back outside. That makes it worse. Ds2 cries and wants to be on me. Cue my milk letting down and soaking my shirt. Now my children are getting out all the kitchen utensils to try and get something from behind the couch.

@betweenthelines, I typically only wear make up at work if I have appointments with people. I've gotten very relaxed the past couple of weeks. I've needed the extra 15 minutes of sleep. Weirdly, I got compliments on my eyebrows the other day sans make up. I haven't done any maintenance on my brows in a year and a half.
