sjep922, A keeps her shoes on some days. Other days no. LG hates shoes but so does her momma. I can't fuss about her taking shoes off in the car since I do the same thing. We aren't pushing A to wear shoes right now but if she changes DC classes they will make her keep her shoes on.
Heyyyy. Busy day. I'll be back to play more tomorrow.
Do your kids actually keep their shoes on? If I put them on A she takes them off as soon as she's in her car seat.
F does the same. But other than in the car she keeps them on.
+1 i keep Ps shoes in my purse until we get where were going because he kicks them off then chucks them into the back of the truck. Otherwise, he keeps them on.
kfg10427 it gets easier. P still cries at drop off but he does stop crying as soon as i leave the room. And when I pick him up at night he doesnt even care im there. Hugs for you! He will adjust, it sounds like hes already having fun!
Thanks ladies! We have been stressing about this transition and I'm just praying we are doing what's best for him! I hate not having him at home but my moms heading into her 4th surgery since December. So I think it's best we keep him in nursery school so she can hopefully heal her broken leg.
Sorry i havent been here too much recently. Work is consuming me. Its a blessing and a curse because i get to work 11 hour days and it helps pass the time while H is away. But I also only get 30 minutes a day to spend with P while juggling the phone to talk to H before he goes to class. *sigh*
So P sleeps in the bedroom next to mine and i keep books in his crib to keep him entertained while i get ready in the am. Well this morning i woke up to a loud THUD THUD THUD. I had a fucking heart attack like the shelves on his wall or some shit came crashing down. Did he finally learn how to climb out of his crib and he fell to his death?? Did a car just crash into the house? (idk, waking up to loud noises is confusing) WHAT HAPPENED?! That jerkface was chucking books at my wall. MY WALL.
sjep922 M can't take her shoes off. She'll undo the Velcro, but otherwise isn't strong enough to get her shoes off. But if she's shoeless, socks come off in a nanosecond! DC makes her wear shoes all day, every day. So methinks she's used to them now.
