I think I might have to take Margs to the ped tomorrow. She is fussy, clingy, and having trouble sleeping, and wants to be held tightly. She's not really liking or acting like its a reaction, and we are out of the wonder week. No signs of a new tooth. Maybe an ear? Any other ideas? No fever and no outward signs of illness otherwise.
@tifga hugs to you! I've switched between aquaphor and dr. Boudreaux's butt paste - it's seems like one will work on diaper rash for a while and then we have to switch for a bit. obscurereference that's an adorable picture! HelgaHuffle so sorry to hear that. I know you were really looking forward to it. :( byjove you all really need a break. Poor M. Work is super stressful right now. I always struggle with the transition to the fall semester- a lot of stuff needs to get done in a short amount of time and students are back to interrupt me. I'm also covering for my coworker who is on leave- so even more work. I have an appointment with my general practitioner tomorrow because I think I'm still dealing with some PPD. I have mostly good days, but my bad days are very bad. I really shouldn't have waited this long because now I just feel stupid going in since LO is 9 months old.
13liza big hugs to you! Better to go in late than never. I'm sorry to hear you have been struggling so much :(
Thanks. MY H said it best when he told me that I'm very good at hiding this until I have a complete meltdown. I manage to hold myself together at work, but by the end of the week (or day sometimes), I'm a mess... And I feel like it's more than just frazzled, tired, working mom mess.

@gdaisy ugh it's awful we are in the same boat too!
@tifga glad to hear she pooped!
byjove I can't imagine how you're feeling! Dd1 had it 2 weeks ago and it was awful. I thought it was really uncommon for adults to get. I'm so sorry you have it.
geners I'm sorry your nanny causes you so much stress, it must be so frustrating to have to deal with.
As for us, we hung out and went to target today. It slipped my mind that the kids are going back to school tomorrow so we shouldn't have gone, it was really crowded and all the snacks were gone. DD2 has a 101.3 fever and I'm trying to decide if that's a teething fever or if I should worry about an ear infection. I gave her Tylenol and she's much happier so she is definitely in pain I'm just not sure from what. DD1 usually shows no signs when she has an ear infection and no fever, I usually just bring her in a week after she gets a cold to see if she has one. H was the same way as a child with ear infections and no fever. Although this last time her fever shot up to 104 with the ear infection. She gets really high fevers when she's sick, usually between 102 and 104. I swear I feel like a first time mom again!

@tifga, sorry you're dealing with constipation. We are too. Dd still isn't taking a bottle 3 weeks into daycare. She will drink an ounce or 2 from a straw cup throughout the day but that's about it. She will eat oatmeal with 3 oz bm mixed in but I'm sure that's not helping the constipation. She also won't drink much water. We've been doing suppositories per the nurse line because she's been so backed up but I know that's not a long term solution. She also won't drink a juice water mix. Welcome mimimama, geners, I'm sorry about your eye! byjove, I hope you're feeling better it looks like you all had a fun trip!
baylorbear I hear ya! Clara would always have high fevers when she was sick and had ear infections. Margs is the complete opposite. IME, a fever above 101 would not be from teething alone.
I started in my new district this week and I'm so overwhelmed and feeling so behind and disconnected. I left my new school today and immediately burst into tears because I so desperately wanted to be back at my old school. And I won't even see a student until Wednesday...
I'm hoping to play more, but I don't suspect I'll be too active for a while. The amount of work I seem to have ahead of me is daunting at best.
I just keep hoping the big pay increase and new house will make this feel ok.
Here's a baby picture so this isn't just me complaining

cnf2013 Hugs! Starting a new job is hard. I think I've always cried and had a 'what have done' moment. Hopefully when you settle in things will be better.
