We never really got to sleep last night. We got up before my 4:30 alarm and Wayne was still running a slight fever but isn't just a lump of baby on the couch. So I stayed home with him so my hubby could sleep(works nights). His daycare doesn't see to be concerned about him missing time.
So, I'm doing Trivia Night in my LLR group tonight and I need to come up with questions. Should I do just traditional trivia or LuLaRoe trivia? LLR trivia sounds boring, but so does regular trivia. LOL. I was thinking of just factual trivia? Like, WHICH PLANET IS CLOSEST TO THE SUN? I think it's Mercury. How many states in the USA? I don't want it to be difficult, I want it to be light and fun. I want everyone to be able to participate. But, I don't want to be dumb & boring, either.
I guess, no matter what, people will get a kick out of it. I hope.
kfg10427 I hope we feels better soon. Daycare would rather him be out then getting others sick. They are used to them getting sick within the 1st few weeks because of all the new germs.
kfg10427 M spent her first few weeks of DC sick as a dog. Being around so many kids and new germs was quite a shock to the system. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Promise!
My car already wants me to spend MORE money on it... I have a fog light out... BECAUSE OF COURSE. Damn car is so needy. I'm still waiting for graciest719 to come steal it from my driveway
I'm anxiously watching Hermine. It looks like the path shifted and we *shouldn't* have a wet Labor Day. FX! I want to take M to a local parade and fair and DNW to be stuck inside all weekend.
@megaugust the director just keeps saying all the kids have allergies! But I wouldn't send him with a fever, that would be so mean for him. malvo we had heard about the daycare plague lol. I just wasn't expecting him to get so very sick. He usually never wants to be held and yesterday he didn't want to leave our laps.

I'm so sleeeeeeeeeepy. Teething sucks. I made MH go get coffee before he left for work at 5.... That's how early we were up. Don't know how that's going to affect our nap schedule but At least we got to watch a bubblegum pink sunrise!
babys2015 it's adorable! Love the announcement and so happy for you.
malvo I'm so jealous of all of your fairs and parades. We have the state fair come once a year and it sucks and you pretty much just worry you'll get robbed. I want the good stuff!!
sjep922 Yikes! That doesn't sound super fun. Our area likes to party, apparently. There are fairs and carnivals all. the. time. during the summer months. Each town does their own community days, holiday celebrations, fireworks, etc. It's so much more fun now that we have M!

That sounds awesome!! I'm super jealous. To be fair to AZ though, it's way too hot to have anything going on in the summer months.
We have a warehouse next door that Toys for Tots rents out. I love what they do, but my goodness are they noisy. They came in today and started throwing around a whistling Nerf football. I share a wall with the warehouse so the whistling is super obnoxious. I made our office admin go over and tell them (politely) to stop it.
I seriously dread Christmas season when they are here. They are loud and smoke on our smoke-free property and the bangs against the wall make me jump every. single. time.
M is driving me batty. She had such an attitude tonight. She insisted on walking out of DC and wouldn't hold my hand in the parking lot. So I picked her up and she screamed and kicked. She's also in a hitting phase. She just swings her arms wildly and hopes to connect. She's on such an independent streak and freaks out if she needs help with something.
She's now in bed and I'm breathing a huge sigh of relief. She was something else tonight!
malvo We are so there. I know it's not appropriate to call my child a bitch but she has been one this week. Phew. If this is a glimpse of the teen years, I'm afraid.

Yesssssss. Please don't let this be a sign of things to come!
Psa if the gallop poll (or however it is spelled) calls answer and say no. I started the questions and got annoyed because dinner time and trying to keep e at bay. I asked before we started and she said just a few short minutes. After almost 10 mins when we were moving to the next topic I asked again. Again the response was only a few short minutes. My response was bitch but the questions were annoying. I said you said that last time my dinner is ready I am done and hung up. I don't have time for that ish.
I managed to avoid this sickness Wayne has had. But now I'm getting a sore throat and headache:( . His fevers been gone all day, but the snot is awful and he seemed extra tired and worn out. I hope y'all have a good weekend. I head to work in the morning.
