Headed to work, then have an album sale tonight. I didn't pack my lunch last night so idk what I'll end up with. The only thing nearby is McDonalds and 21 day fix frowns upon that. Haha I took Noah to Gymboree yesterday for the first time and he seemed to enjoy it. I'm hoping to take him back tomorrow. He didn't nap as well yesterday as well I expected after running around for an hour, but he seemed to be out overnight so maybe he'll sleep in for DH. Any other LOs starting to get sad at naptime and bedtime? N does this whiny cry at both now like he's upset that he can't keep playing. It makes me feel bad for 10 seconds or so
malvo, N eats wherever she wants too, now. It's a little out of control sometimes. Like, no, you can't sit on the arm of the couch and eat. Haha.
Heeeey. Out to b-fast with MH. We dropped N off at DC first 'cause I'm a meanie mom. Hoping to get my house a little more under control + clean so I can enjoy more of my long weekend! A local consultant is coming over to swap some stuff, too, which I really need. So, hopefully that goes well, too.
ladymike M is cool with her high chair. She'll even help push it out of the corner. Or she'll try to get in it if she's hungry. But today she wasn't feeling it. She wanted to snuggle. Snuggle on a Saturday, baby girl!
portuguesemama We got lucky with M. She loves her crib and her alone time. We lay her down and she flips right to her belly with her butt in the air. She gets her kitty to snuggle with and a blanket, and then she's out! My next child is going to be a demon. I can see it now.
Morning. I woke up with a migraine. I can't enjoy the 3 day weekend in peace the bitch af will be showing up. Monday we are going apple picking and out to eat to celebrate my birthday. My dad forgot that they paid for the place down the ocean for my bday and my mom isn't reminding him about that.
malvo m is so cute. E will get snacks in the living room.
We went out for dinner last night to celebrate for R. She won 5th grade student council representative. She ran at her old school last year and lost. She was super hesitant to try this year since she's at a new school, but we all encouraged her. So glad since she won. She was super proud and excited.
A woke up crying and moaning right when I was trying to go to bed last night. She was standing up and obviously just unhappy. This never happens, so I decided I should go soothe. She's a very snotty baby yesterday evening and during the night.
No symptoms other than that though, so I'm sending her to DC. MOTY? No fever and she's super happy. Just uncomfortable sleeping when she can't breathe through her nose I suppose.
OMFG there is a guy who sits close to me who put on way too much Cologne this morning. It is not helping my migraine at all ad starting to affect my allergies. I am so done for today.
portuguesemama is this your first week back on the 21 day fix? I started Monday also. I'm super sore so far! First real workouts since breaking my toe.
@megaugust10 Have you considered preventative medicine for your headaches / migraines? I used to take Topamax and it was a humongous help. I now just have a rescue med, as I don't get clusters anymore.
malvo, so cute!!! sjep922, A has been snotty for weeks. I still send her to DC. I've been putting Vicks on her feet at night and it's helped a little. ladymike, breakfast alone with the H sounds like fun. I'm leaving work early but not picking up the girls right away so I can spend time with my H. And if you want to send your diapers A can fit in size 3 still. It's raining. I'm ok with it. We didn't get the major impact from the tropical storm like was predicted. I figured we would be ok when I stocked up on water yesterday. I went to the store and bought 12 gallons of water, baked beans, chips, bread, peanut butter, and ranch dressing. I felt like people would judge my buggy. But I needed random stuff and if we lose power I have no water!
I mean, girlfriend can be a tornado when she wants to be, but she's got nothing on D and N (portuguesemama)! She really loves her some Little Einsteins.

TGIF FOR REALS.
We're still waiting for teeth to cut over here so it's been an early morning again. And man is he in a mood today.... Tantrums everywhere. He's currently in the middle of the kitchen table pulling apart my good napkins and IDGAF. Not until I get at least one cup of coffee in.
ETA: I should mention that he is not unsupervised on the kitchen table. I am holding onto him with one hand

I'm getting what is probably my last pedicure of the year. School/work starts for me next week. I'm hopeful and optimistic for a good year. My teaching partner is the polar opposite of the ones I had last year so we should work better together! I also don't have to pump anymore so I have an hour more a day to myself.
Taking R to the pedi today. 3rd day of fevers and last night it got to 104.5! I called and they said to watch for certain danger signs. It that'd he'd be ok until today..
Ugh. My poor baby just wants to snuggle all day, so unlike him.
So, M's normal pediatrician location had a refrigeration issue and wasn't doing vaccines (we went to a different location where they had them).
Well, she had the Hep B and I guess it was when issues started to arise and it may not be as effective. They want her to get another Hep B vaccine juuuuuust to make sure.

At her 18 month appointment, she gets TDAP and Hep A. Would you do the Hep B as well? Or space it out?

Three shots seems extreme and cruel.
I would go ahead and do it. If you stretch it out, it's just going to be another appointment she gets a shot at.

ETA I'm pretty sure at our last appointment Jo got 3 shots-2 in one leg and 1 in the other. She was fine.
I'm on a bus. We are touring our neighborhood to "better help us understand our students." JFC.
Is this a bus of white teachers just looking at the neighborhood or are you doing home visits? Seems like an out of touch way to get to know kids.
Pretty much, except out staff is half and half. It felt...gross. To everyone.
Now, other schools in our district did the same, but made stops here and there to pass out school supplies that had been donated. That seems like a much better tactic.
