I'm trying to wean my child but every place I sit, she's like, "BOOBS TIME??" If I sit in our normal nursing chair, it's like an alarm goes off or some shit. Uggghhhhhh. So I'll just stand..? Haha.
Anyhooo. I thought it was going to be a family day but MH left. So, ok. Maybe we will do something later. I'm just hanging out for now. Tomorrow, I have to help out at the winery for a bit :-( and then picnic on Monday!
malvo Oh man. I know this is cold, but I think you have to replace her. Tell her how happy you are for her, you love her, have a special corsage for her to wear as a guest, but the stress of if she'll make it or not isn't worth it IMO.
malvo why don't you ask her. Give her the option to continue through with everything and if she isn't there the day of then you'll have to be ok with it, obviously. Are you more worried she won't be there or that she could go into labor at your ceremony? Lol. Remember, mostly babies do NOT come on their due date. babys2015 I'd say give it another day or so and then stretch the Motrin, if he gets fussy you know he's still in pain. If he seems fine then maybe your past it. ladymike my h and d just left too. Just Shug and I. She just fell back to sleep on my boob.
Just f and I hanging this morn. I got to sleep in a little (thanks h!) but woke still not feeling well. Im not completely sick, but just enough to feel crappy.
No real plans today. The storm isn't really much of a storm at all. I plan to go help pop with some bills later and to meet up with my parents at some point.
malvo, if you aren't worried about her possible absence, I'd say leave it up to her. Definitely talk to her but let her decide. She may honestly be good to back out and avoid investing in the dress, shoes, etc with a fear of not making it. But, if you're like, no, I need to know for sure that ill have x amt of ladies, then I guess you should talk to her about that and replace her now.
I'm thinking that we'll replace her for the day-of, but she still gets to be a bridesmaid without the stress of having to be in a dress at the alter. She'll be a honorary bridesmaid! She lives 3 hours away, so there is a concern of her going into labor down here and not being near familiar doctors. DNW that to happen!
ETA: She did offer to step down as a bridesmaid. There are no hurt feelings or anything. She understands that it's my day and we need a plan. She's cool like that

malvo I would just talk to her about it. I mean chances are a 40 week pregnant woman wouldn't even want to be standing around on an alter while being photographed. Butch least by having a conversation hopefully no feelings are hurt

Period cramps are bad today. Dreaming of laying in bed with my heating pad but instead we are taking D to the trampoline park to hopefully get some energy out. He's currently crying face down on the floor because I said no to climbing up into his highchair. FUN TIMES at our house this morning
M and I went to the bank, Kohl's and grocery store. I needed jeans. But I hate that I'm stuck between juniors and old lady. I am not ready for straight-legged mom jeans. NEWP. But I also don't need a million pairs of skinny jeans and/or hugely-flaired jeans! I found a pair of boot cut in juniors and bought two. I'll have to try another store.
Where do you shop for decently-priced jeans? I'll pay $25 max for a pair of jeans.
At the grocery store, M wanted to hold the mandarin oranges. And she proceeded to sign and say "more" until I hid them from her. I can't let you have them in the store without paying! She ate two cups of oranges when we got home. Can't wait to change that poop...
babys2015- So sorry for the yuck at your house. Coxsackie was rough here. Glad the fever broke. malvo- I know it's been discussed here lots before, but think about splurging on some "luxury" jeans! They seriously fit to much better than the cheap stuff and generally are very much not mom jeans. If I look good in them, you'll look great. If you are nearby a Nordstrom Rack, they have great deals on the good stuff. Try it once. ladymike- You might need to burn the nursing chair that's a tough one. maddisonrose- Boo to the cramps and the crazy kid freak outs. Hope things settle down soon so you can relax!
Hoping for a relaxing day. Nothing much planned this weekend, except I do need to go in to work and devote a day to my classroom. I'd love to not have to go in on weekends but I've never been able to make it happen. Boo. Need to get my eyebrows done like whoa. I should probably make that happen too.
malvo i share the same budget. Do you have outlets near you? I love jcrew (outlet)boot cut jeans, gap boot cut and even old navy. Someone on here (or that used to be here?) swears by them! I can't remember if it was flat0422 or chilibeansm0m either way, worth checking out. Sometimes I'll go for target, but they aren't my fave.
It's gloomy out and I'm lonely! Other than having f with me. We just made a trip to target, I needed acne wash. Haven't bought any in years but my chin won't quit breaking out!! Grabbed a few other odds and now we're home.
Guise, my mom and dad came by and kicked h and I out! We don't have an agenda but I think the afternoon will start with wings. Haha! I got him and he doesn't know it!!
Thanks all! H and I got a bite to eat, he took me shopping for some work clothes and now we're enjoying ice cream in the car and listening to an awesome new 90's station!!

What station? Is it radio? I'm so tired of my station.
Where did the week go? I've been in a sick kiddo cloud..
His fever broke and now I guess I just keep up Motrin as needed for pain? graciest719, sound right? How do I know when the blisters are gone?
H is working today until 3 and then he's off Sunday and Monday! Hooray!!
No plans. May get kids out to a park or something..
Sorry I wasn't on yesterday!
The blisters are probably gone today. If he gets fussy maybe some Motrin. Sometimes we gave a half dose and that worked. I hope everyone is feeling better today!
