We had a pretty fun filled day yesterday between the amusement park, lunch out, and a ice cream picnic as DD1 called it so I'm not sure if we are doing much this weekend. We may go to the science center but debating how crowded it will be if it's worth it.
We have a birthday party to go to this morning, and are having DD1s best friend and his parents over for a bbq tonight, so that should be fun. Nothing major planned after that, need to get the school supplies organized for DD1 and sit down and get all of the school events and activities on the calendar.
We are headed to the Renaissance festival today. It's supposed to be lovely outside so I'm hoping it's not too crowded.
Tomorrow my parents are having a big Labor Day party. Monday we have no plans which is almost as exciting as the rest. I love weekends but it's nice to have a veg day before we get back to the week and the grind.
No big plans here. Stuff around the house, sewing projects, maybe grab some more wrapping paper (of course I only need a tiny bit more).
Speaking of wrapping paper, why are the rolls getting soooo small?!? I understand some people may only need a bit, but make larger rolls too. Thankfully LO doesn't have gigantic toddler toys as gifts anymore that would practically take a whole roll or more per gift. Lol. With the little rolls, you constantly have those end pieces. ::end my random vent-like tangent that I am more curious about the company logic regarding it than I am annoyed by it ::
DH took yesterday off so we took DD to the children's mueseum. I also went to dinner and shopping with my BFF. Today, we took DD swimming. I want to go back and get DD another couple of pairs of jeans that I found for $8. We don't really have anything planned for the rest of the weekend.

I put the mesh crib bumpers on the crib. I had to watch a video to do it because it's been so long. I wanted to go to the beach. H wanted to stay home so we did. On the plus side I got a bunch of stuff done on my To Do List for before baby is born.

Dh has a four day weekend. Friday, we walked ds to school then walked a little bit further into town to eat breakfast. When we got home, we went to party city to get some specialty balloons & some other goodies I couldn't find around here to surprise ds with the dining area decorated. After school, we went to the sunflower field that is in bloom to take some pics. When we got home, ds was super happy about all the decorations. Yesterday we took him bike riding, he is doing so good & then I made his cake. He loved it & it was the easiest cake I've done so far so that was a win. Not sure what's up today. Been thinking about going to the kiddie amusement park before ds gets too big. We've never been. We shall see.

did you end up going to the science center? I'm assuming it was probably super busy.

No, we actually couldn't even get anywhere close to it. We pulled off for a few minutes, watched some planes, and then just came back home and swam.
Did you go to the kiddie park? And was the field Maria's? So far two people on my facebook have posted pictures there this weekend.

We did! younglove316 Got a book & barely came close to using all the tickets so we'll save them for next year. I thought it was a little bigger than it was but ds was happy. He loved the roller coaster. & yep, that's the field! So beautiful
Today my sister and BIL came over to hang out with the baby, then we went out for Thai for lunch and stopped at Trader Joe's for a few things. I got a tasty chili and red pepper cheese and a big thing of cider that I'm looking forward to enjoying tonight with dinner.
Tomorrow my sister is coming back over to take me and Ridley to visit my aunt since she hasn't met the baby yet. Hopefully it goes well. She has pretty advanced Parkinson's and has more bad days than good. I hope tomorrow she feels better.
