ampaints thanks for the check in. First day was pretty good for M and I. But it was a home day with Gramma and he was a rock star! Two big naps 1.5 hour and 2 hours! Super happy all day and ate well! We were even able to keep him up a bit, so he went to bed a little after 7, so that was good! I felt the love at work! I arrived to them decorating my office! Our team works remotely a lot, but I did receive a number of emails welcoming me back Got my new laptop, just waiting on new blackberry and ipad. DS1 was on time to school for grade 12, so I am counting that a win. Lol!
Wine is also my friend! Red and extra dark chocolate, why yes please!

Morning! M is dozing back off on the boob but I'm awake and hungry. redandblue glad you had a good first day! I'm going out of town without baby for the first time tonight. I'm nervous but also excited to sleep on a big hotel bed alone and have dinner without antsy kiddo.
@janetheconquerer M must be conspiring with C. He was also up around 5:15, but M was screaming, and proceeded to scream for about the next hour.... I'm so tired. Not making me feel very good about taking him to the babysitters for the first full day. I think it's his molars that are almost through.

@janetheconquerer,
Dear C,
It's great to see you love mommy so much and you want to spend as much time as possible. She's pretty great isn't she?! Unfortunately, waking up at 5:15 isn't a great time to wake up for the day. This makes for a grumpy mommy which (I'm sure we can agree) isn't a desirable outcome no matter how cute you are in the morning. Perhaps we can work on later wake up time. In other words,

DS2 slept through the night. By which I mean, he woke up at 10:30 and didn't wake up again until 4am. I'll take it.
I finally got to see DS1's new classroom. It's super cute. I'm feeling a little better about the transition. He's with his old class in the morning so he'll get to see some of his friends. I'm not really sure if when he's main pack of buddies show up but it's something.
