FFTC: I suck at brushing R's teeth. In my defense, I forget! I really do. I just got into a good routine with F sometime last year. Oops.
Anyway, what are you doing for LO's teeth? I've just been wiping with a cloth at bath, but he doesn't get a bath every day so I need to be better about it.
Are you using a brush? The little banana brush thing? Those brushes that go on your finger? Give me your recs. I'm ready to buy something.
I'm terrible about it (as in, I have literally never remembered to do it - not once). L has 6 teeth so I really need to start. With B we wiped his teeth with a washcloth at night until he got old enough to really keep his mouth open. We use a radius toothbrush and now he loves it (he's 2). We tried the banana brush (he just chewed on it) and the finger brush (he hated it) before trying the radius.
I have a little kit. It has a regular brush and the rubber finger one. We have yet to use it... I'm intimidated. What am I doing - just rubbing it on his teeth? I'm not using toothpaste and trying to rinse his mouth out afterwards, am I? Help!!
I'm terrible at remembering. She has six teeth and I've wiped them like three times. I just found a baby toothbrush in a little kit thing so I set it next to mine to remind me to brush them at least once a day

I just found a toothbrush in our little kit thing. I just damped the bristles and gentle brushed at her teeth for about 15 seconds until she tried to eat it.
My H is obsessive about tooth care in general (comes from a big family of dentists, haha!) so we brush her teeth with a generic infant toothbrush/toothpaste every night as part of bedtime routine. We brush her gums as well. She loves it!

I was using a wash cloth at every bath. Now I'm using the finger brush at bath time. Too bad he only gets 1-2 baths a week The kit I got has nubby brushes and he chews in those while I cook. That counts right?
He has two and I wipe them with a cloth sometimes. He has a habit of chewing on his burp cloth so I figure that's pretty good. I also have a regular toothbrush that he chews on when I am changing his diaper every now and then. (Nevermind that the toothbrush also doubles as a brush for his hair)

EG's favorite teether has little bristles on it and she chews it almost daily, so that counts as brushing her teeth for now. But, last night I did add the banana toothbrush to my Amazon cart just to try to start something a little more serious. The sooner I put it in our routine, the sooner I can *try* to remember to do it each day.

We do a finger brush with baby toothpaste every night before bed. We brush her two teeth and her gums. It's really just to get used to the routine of brushing.
geners I wouldn't try to rinse his mouth. That would be a disaster! The baby toothpaste won't hurt them if they swallow it. Just use a tiny bit.
E still doesn't have any teeth, so nothing to brush. I do give her a wet washcloth after dinner to chew on though, which I guess cleans up her gums pretty well.
I've done nothing in the way of DD's dental hygiene. She has two teeth. I need teething biscuits that do double duty - clean her teeth while she chews! Like they have for dogs.
I always hated the finger brush, so went straight to the normal one. D15 doesn't have any teeth yet, so I haven't started brushing. I know some people wipe their babies gums, but I just never do. I remember being bad about brushing my S13's teeth but it eventually became routine and is NBD. Can't remember how long that took though.
