FX that the abx do the trick and wipe the infection out of there.

If it does come down to screw removal, can they do it with a local instead of general anesthesia? MH has screws and a plate in his elbow, and when some of his screws started popping out, they were able to remove them with a local instead of putting him under general again.

I really hope your H doesn't have to to through surgery again. Not sure if my memory is right here but didn't his work give him a hard time about how long he was out for as well? I really hope he's not going through that again as well

That's a positive update! I'm glad the infection is clearing up, and I hope it stays away long enough for the grafts to really adhere before the screws have to come out.
