I took Melatonin because it is natural, and I am an idiot. Googled after and the says it not to take in pregnancy. It made me sick and I am never taking the it again, and googling before I take anything now. Tell me to stop being worried, or tell me maybe I should?!?
So many of those warnings are simply because they don't know how it will affect you and/or a fetus, and so they put it on as a precaution because it would be unethical to test pregnant women/fetuses on the effects. I'm sure it is fine. You can always call your OB if you needed more reassurance.

I took Melatonin many nights while I was pregnant with #2. I even would take one in the middle of the night if it was needed. My ob said it was perfectly fine. She however refused to let me take my essential oil vitamins. And was very worried about me using essential oils in general.
