Just another day at work here. I had an awful dream last night about being told today that this isn't a viable pregnancy because I was measuring over a week behind so that was fun. I'll feel better after my app this afternoon.
Walking with this boot is interesting, and I'm confiding in a workmate about last night and it's legality. I'm ready for today to be over

I have been so MIA. My sister got married this past weekend and stuff was so hectic. I had an ultrasound a couple weeks ago and it was def only one baby, so that was good. I don't know if I could handle twins again. Now that things have calmed down I hope that I can participate a lot more. I hope everything is going well for everyone I'm going to attempt to catch up now.
Thanks, ladies. I ended up blabbing to my boss about it today when I asked to do an alternate work schedule to not need need to take sick time for my follow up tomorrow.. Turns out, he and his wife had losses before they had their daughter so he understands my hesitation about this pregnancy and what it's like to be PgAL (at least from the father's side).
I was going to go to my app alone but I caved and asked my H to go with me yesterday when I got overwhelmed. I'm pretty certain there will be an ultrasound soon, if not tonight, then probably in a week or two. I know the MW I saw for my IUD removal said there is one at the 8w take in to confirm everything is going okay. (My OB only did the A/S and growth scans as needed if you were confident in your dates).

Welcome back! Glad things have calmed down for you and we look forward to seeing more of you!
Not bad. I lost 4 people that I expected to come that day so it was smaller than I would have liked but I did have some of my good friends there and that was really nice. FIL's girlfriend came and she is lovely so I enjoyed seeing her without him.

I pushed and pushed for my ultrasound. See if you can call ahead of time to ask if they scheduled you one or if they could due to loss history, etc. They couldn't fit me in that day but I did get in the next morning before work. I really want an ultrasound right now because I am just so worried that something is wrong.

Hey all. I'm snacking on cheese and wishing the day away. I'm uncomfortable in my clothes today. I ordered some belly bands from Amazon but they haven't shipped yet. I'm hoping that will help. The pressure of my pants on my stomach makes me feel a little sick. So I sit at work with my pants unbuttoned but I'm afraid someone is going to notice.

there's a hairband/rubber band trick you can do to hold them closed. I know some women go that route over the band

Hi All! Today is just crawling by. I woke up thinking it was Friday, too. Womp womp. On the bright side, the LLR seller of that Lindsay I got that I hated is letting me return it for credit AND she's letting me have my $25 lulacash back which I didn't think she'd do. Hello, 2 new pairs of leggings or maybe even a new dress!
onesweetworld, did you end up getting any free clothes from your party or did not enough get bought?

I did that all of last week but even that is too tight now :-( if I'm standing up its fine but sitting down my chub rolling over my jeans is uncomfortable as hell.

I do this. I've also done this not pregnant, when I was feeling a little chubby lol
Also if you love dogs (particularly terriers) the last segment of this week's TAL is pretty good. Although I was disappointed that Ira only briefly mentioned his dog.
Also also: flip yogurts are perfect for sharing with a toddler. Pawn off as much of the plain yogurt as you can on then, then mix it up for you. Please don't get too smart for this anytime soon, kid.

Then it gets extra concentrated with the yummy stuff for you! Genius!
Dating scan scheduled for Friday morning. The MW was able to somewhat put my mind at ease. She's seen people with my problem before and will work closely with a MFM for my care

Sorry you have to wait a couple more days. Hope the time passes quickly and you see an adorable peanut with a great hb Friday!

I know what I'm listening to on my run tomorrow!
I can't wait to get a dog, but DH is not a dog person. I think I will be able to persuade him to get a pup once we are past the baby stage.
