Hey everyone
So I am starting to think the skin care products I was using before and during my pregnancy are not doing the job they once did OR my skin has changed since having DD.
I have combination skin (oily T zone and dry cheeks)
I was originally using Clinique redness solution (cleanser, toner, moisturizer, eye cream and day cream with SPF) which majorly dried my skin out. I switched while TTC because Clinique uses cyclic acid in so many of their products.
I started using the Shiseido Ibuku line because it is made from all plant products. I really liked it and it seemed to work well. The care is a gentle cleanser, a "softener" (think toner) and a moisturizer. I also have an eye cream and a serum to use when I am really dry.
I guess I am wondering if you ladies experienced skin changes after your babies were born and if anyone has any recommendations for a good skin care line - bonus points if you have combination skin.

I use an Aveeno cleanser in the shower every morning. I have the Olay version of the Clarisonic and I was using it, but it ran out of batteries and I haven't remembered to change them in 2 weeks.
Before I put makeup on, I use the Clinique Smart moisturizer. I like it ok, but I wouldn't buy it again. I think I'll go back to Benefit after this runs out.
At night I just use Garnier micellar water to take my makeup off and then a moisturizer. My favorite is Olay regenerist, but I'm currently using up a First Aid beauty sampler that is lasting forever.
I have extremely low maintenance skin and I do think often less is more.

I actually use the baby wash I use for my kids to wash my face, which is California Baby Super Sensitive. I switched to that a few months ago and it has made a huge difference in reducing general redness and tiny bumps on my forehead. I moisturize with a hippie version of Cetaphil, which I like, but want to switch up soon. I don't mind spending money on face products if I love them, but since oftentimes the $10 and the $40 ones are most of the same ingredients, or the fancy ones include things like glacial moss extract that my scientific brain knows doesn't do shit for my skin, I have a hard time finding the right stuff. Obviously I overthink it.
Lately I've really been wanting a clairsonic brush, and also some squalene oil.
silverspoon - I've been wanting to try micellar water. How long have you been using it? Do you recommend?
I've been using it for about 3 months now. I like that I only need one product to take off waterproof eye makeup and face makeup. It says you don't have to rinse but that seems like crazy talk to me. I rinse.

I use the Simple Micellar water to remove make up as well. It is super gentle.
I use the Boots face wash. Dry and Extra Dry. I keep one in the shower and one by the sink. I use Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Day and Night for my moisturizer. It's not working.

Thanks to everyone for the info! I figured I would try out using the baby wash and cream. I am using the baby aveeno and so far, so good! Thanks again!
