Clogged duct right at the nipple?

Hi everyone! So my LO turns one tomorrow and while i've already stopped pumping, I intend to keep nursing him. He has shown no signs of wanting to stop. If anything, he is even more vocal about wanting to nurse these days. 

I've noticed for a few weeks now that when he nurses, i field a weird sensation right behind my nipple/areola. When i touch it, it almost seems like there's a clogged duct there so i'll try to massage it out and when i do, i end up squirting even if he has just finished nursing. 

Is it possible to have a clogged duct there? I don't have any symptoms of mastitis but something does seem a little off.

I've had it for a while now and it doesn't seem to prevent him from nursing and it doesn't really hurt  - just not sure what it is. 

Any ideas?

yes, you can get a blocked duct right behind your nipple. have you tried the usual remedies? hot baths, massaging, vibration, lecithin supplements? i'd try those for a week and see if there's any improvement. if not i'd check in with your doctor just to ease your mind.

Thanks vvvvvfee! I've tried all but Lecithin supplements. I didn't even know about that! Hmm... where would i find that?

It doesn't really bother me that much except that it can be uncomfortable. Doesn't seem to bother him any (it's his preferred side).

I have not been able to find lecithin at a regular grocery store or Target. I get it at a natural foods store. Good luck!
