Good Thursday morning. This early ass thread brought to you by reflux and storms! I've got a baby on my chest finally sleeping comfortably. How's your Thursday looking and more importantly, what sounds good to drink? I'm starting with hot coffee and tonight an ice cold beer or two will do me good.
Mornin. Little guy only woke up to eat once last night, but he was wide awake at 6. Holding him now for his first nap. I was hoping to get him back down in the crib and go back to bed, but he's sleeping pretty lightly and I'm sure DD will be up soon. Coffee for me when I have a chance to make it. We're almost out of milk so we'll have to get to the store today and maybe I'll grab some wine for myself for tonight.

Good morning! Got DS off to daycare and enjoying some coffee with L right now. I need to pop down to the liquor store later for some wine!
There's a clothing store commercial that I see all the time and the girls are wearing clothes that are so 90's... for example, one girl is wearing a white baby doll tshirt with a spaghetti strap dress over top. Please tell me that stuff is not coming back!
Morning! Currently chugging coffee because DH had to go into work at 5am, the baby slept crappy after 2 due to reflux, and the toddler woke up at 6. Oh, and I have a job interview at noon. Can't wait to take a nap this afternoon and crack open a bottle of wine and watch football tonight.

Good morning! S is taking his first nap in the swing this morning while I clean the house some more. Right now I am drinking coffee and eating oatmeal.
Woke up at one point last night to a lot of noise, no crying. Checked DS on the monitor and he'd turned 90 degrees and was kicking the side of the crib. He didn't seem upset so I let it go and fell back asleep, fully expecting him to cry soon and need to be fed. A while later, no noise. Checked again and he'd competed a 180 and was sleeping peacefully. Guess this is why he didn't sleep well in the rnp.
So far I've got: leave the cloth at home and use disposables, babywear in the airport, feed on take off and landing, bring boppy, bring spare outfits for everyone...
My good sleeper slept like crap last night, and my 3 year wanted a turn out woke up last night too. I guess it's somewhat positive that they both chose the same night to wake me up, hopefully they'll both sleep better tonight. Probably wishful thinking.
The baby has only had one tiny poop in the past 4 days, so I'm thinking she's going to explode at any second. Probably at the pediatrician a office today.

Definitely do disposables. Do you think you'll use the boppy a lot where you're headed? It's pretty bulky for a plane. Yes on outfits, we have had several airplane blowouts, I swear the pressure changes make them poop.

I know! And wtf to plaid flannel shirts being popular again? it's like a slightly less dirty looking version of the 90s grunge era returning. Just no.

The thought on the boppy was that it would be useful as a baby lounger. We are going to be spending a lot of time in the equivalent of a hospital room and might need to set him down at times. I don't need it for nursing

SO much WTF to all the plaid flannel. I was shopping for clothes a couple of weeks ago and every shirt I saw was some sort of plaid flannel. I ended up buying zero shirts. Much disappoint.

But I'm one of the youngest moms of DD1's preschool so at least I have that haha.
My diploma says 2006 because I had a 4 year battle with my dean over one class counting. I finished in 2002. I was living with my husband when Ray was in high school.

I get home from dropping my older son off at preschool and am taking E out of the car in his carseat. My neighbor who I don't know (haven't done more than wave to him in 2 months), runs over to meet the baby. He gets in his face and screams, "Hi E. I'm your neighbor." Did I mention E was sleeping? Well not anymore. And did I mention that E, H, and I did not sleep last night? I just wanted to go inside to relax. Ugh. Went for a walk around the neighborhood, and at least he fell back asleep.

Even though I've been awake since 1:30 am with a reflux baby, I'm doing okay today. There was no coffee this morning and I almost blew up my house, but I got both boys dressed and out of the house for a Dunkin run. DS1 got a donut and I got coffee. We all won. So we swung by the park and had a great morning. Now both boys are napping in their rooms and I'm relaxing.

My Thursday has been interesting so far. I goy into a conversation with a woman at a freight train while Malcolm screamed bloody murder. She was actually really nic. Then, while I was choosing a birthday cake for DH, I chatted with the two employees behind the counter and an older customer about breastfeeding and vacations. Just odd but interesting encounters.
It's my husband's birthday today, so I plan to enjoy some beer or wine and takeout of his choosing. I had my coffee with some new tasty cinnamon roll creamer today and I'm going to enjoy a La Croix or maybe a San pellegrino soda soon. I've got all my beverage bases covered. Plus cake and ice cream.
