Hi! Now that we are in size 12 month for pajamas all the sleepers have tight arms or it's the flame retardant polyester which I don't love. I am not ready to make the jump to 2 piece pjs! Wondered if anyone has found footed 100% cotton sleepers in size 12 month that are not so tight that you are shoving an arm in...
I have not. We just buy the fleece Carter's footies. Ellebutt is a super skinny scrawny little thing though, so it's all baggy on her. Have you tried some high end place like Janie And Jack or Hannah Anderson?
We have a pair of zip up cotton Carter's pjs that are looser in the wrist. Avoid tea collection pajamas! I feel like gap were pretty reasonable too. Where have you looked? I think this could be style/color dependent by brand. Subtle differences in manufacturing can make a difference.

I feel you. Are kids' beds catching fire a lot? I don't really get the wear it snug thing they do. I hate carters pjs after 12 months. Actually I really dislike carters for anything but baby stuff.
Hanna Andersson has amazing pjs, but they are not footies. And they are very pricey for fast-growing babies. They will occasionally do half off their pjs (Black Friday I think is a guarantee). Otherwise I'd look at gap. I don't have any baby pjs from there, but their fabrics are usually nice. Let us know what you buy and how it works out!

I like The Children's Place for footed zip-up PJs. There is elastic on the ankles so their feet stay in place and they aren't too thick (my kids are both very hot, could never wear fleece). I felt like the arms have been tight on some pairs, but not on others, even though they're all cotton. The more print on the fabric, the more snug the PJs seemed to be overall, including arms.
We're still in 6M pjs over here, but I've stocked up on some bigger sizes, I got a pair of Burts Bees PJs from kohls that are cotton footed pjs in 12m, I don't recall how big those jammies went, but you might check those out too

I have had to go to two piece. Emma is so chubby that the 12 mo of Carters are too tight in the full arm and the thighs. So definitely following this thread!

So carters starts making "slim fit" pjs at 12 months. The manager of our local carters outlet told me that you can find the non slim fit at other retailers like Macy's and kohls. The slim fit is the stupidest thing I've ever seen.

This explains so much! We just put C in footie pajamas tonight for the first time since spring, and they are 12M from Carter's. They are super long on him but we had the hardest time squeezing his arms into the sleeves, we were baffled. And he is not a big baby at all. Now I know why, ugh!

Yep. That's the problem. I usually get my carter pjs at kohls. They are not slim fit and seem to work better for us. Funny thing is R is between sizes (9-12) and the 9 month cotton sleep and plays fit him better than the 12 month stupid slim fit. And he's small! Lol
