DS1 is at daycare and I managed to sleep an hour while L napped in his crib. Woot!
I think I'll go shopping, my shoes don't fit... I've pretty much been living in flip flops since May, so I had no idea. I couldn't squeeze into my boots, and my ballet flats hurt to wear. I bought myself a pair of Birks this August and ended up buying ones that are two sizes bigger than my old ones. It surprised me, but the sales girl told me the styles size differently, so I thought nothing of it. Nope, it's my feet!

At the doctors now for Irene's two month check up and shots. She's 25" long and 14 lb 9 oz. No wonder her clothes don't fit her anymore! Not looking forward to the shots but maybe if I have low expectations she'll surprise me?
Also DD1 is home sick from school today. Threw up everywhere and had a fever this morning. The goal for today is surviving.

I got next to no sleep last night, and H has been gone since 5am. He has his second interview with a new company today. I mentioned it before, but it's a 2 hour commute to this place. I don't understand why he applied and then accepted a second interview without knowing the hours/salary.
Oh no ellebelle I hope the rest of you avoid the pukes!
DD1 is home and we're doing nothing. DH is working til 9 tonight so we're just surviving. After 6 weeks of the baby and I sleeping in the living room so DH could sleep, I've been back in bed with DH this week because we both missed it. But Baby R was so terrible last night that I'm pretty sure DH got no sleep and we'll be back on the couch tonight. I hate this so much. I feel like we've made zero progress in the sleep department in weeks and it's so depressing. I wish I could see a light at the end of the tunnel but I can't.
Taking Flint to the doctor in about a half hour re: his cold. I realize there's probably nothing they can do but the cough concerns me so id rather they check him out to be safe.

Ray good luck! This is the time of year my oldest is usually on his nebulizer for a cough. FX they don't think baby needs that because it sucks giving it to small babies
S did well for his shots. We walked the shot records over to his daycare that is right next door so H could get a better look at the infant room and we could ask a couple more questions. I like the daycare but I am starting to get really sad that I will have to go back to work and leave him there. It's going to be really tough.
I'm struggling today. After sleeping most of yesterday after his shots, L was an absolute nightmare all evening and was up a ton as if he was 2 weeks old again. Blah. I need to run to the mall at some point to return a few things so we will see if I can work up the motivation.
I got rain boots and ballet flats for myself. That should do me for awhile, I'm not fancy! And why is it so hard to find fashion boots for wide calves?
Also got some stocking stuffers for the boys. Too early?

I had the same experience... Slept all day and was suddenly wide awake at night! I hope you get some rest.
cavewmn I'm sorry for your loss and stupid FB reminders
It's never too early to Christmas shop. I bought a couple things on zulily last week.
Today is our first fall weather day. I took myself to TJ Maxx and bought a jacket. I live in Chicago weather and I've owned nothing between an unlined trench coat and full on down parka for over a year. I spent last fall and spring freezing my butt off in the trench. Now I have something appropriate and fuzzy lined for the next few weeks.

katelou thanks for checking up. I'm okay- coffee has been plentiful today since no one lets me get any sleep. I'm still really confused about B's issues, and the more I think of it the more I'm convinced his torticollis is from delivery or inside the womb. I literally never put this kid down unless he's asleep in his crib. I'm trying to release it and see what the PT says in a few weeks.
It doesn't help that it's a rainy day. Brings the whole house down. B has been sleeping a lot today, and DS1 and I kept busy with Halloween window clings. He had a blast putting them on all the windows.

littlesthobo it's so not too early for Christmas gifts. I have both boys Amazon lists all set up and have a few gifts/socking stuffers for them already.

H took A on a stroller walk so I got the house to myself. Just whipped up some chicken burrito bowls and chugging a beer with the windows open. Great afternoon!
My sausage and peppers are cooked and I think I could have actually done it with a lot less liquid than the recipe I used called for. The peppers made plenty of their own liquid. Everything tastes pretty good though. I probably could have added a bunch of dried pasta in and cooked again for an additional few minutes, I may try that next time.
