I'm just going AW a bit. Since I've been MIA. New job is great and day goes fast so hardly any computer time, except to do actual work. Like outside work is pretty hectic too since my oldest has 11 hrs of gymnastics a week. I joined a new gym and try to go to classes twice a week but I hate leaving the house at night, really need to because I just feel gross. We quit PT for E because it was just too stressful, she stopped participating and would just cry. But now she sits independently so I'm pretty sure that she'll never roll over. She also never sleeps, like ever! Longest stretch may have been 3 hours. She's still in our room but ends up in our bed so I can sleep while she nurses. I want my bed back.
Shana tova roseinbloom and arbe and anyone else celebrating. Are you taking the LOs to temple or anything? We found a service for families with kids 5 and under that is free and you don't have to be a member so we are going to that. I definitely miss the family part though! Everyone was at my aunt and uncle's last night and they just sold their house so it will probably be the last time there for any of our holidays.

Oh geez, LO is back in the Sleepsuit. After a 10 day long nap strike (nothing longer than 30 min) and a particularly bad night Saturday night, i brought it back out. Success with bedtime, and a one hour morning nap. But not the afternoon nap - still getting a measly 30 min. Ugh.

Oh and also, as I was walking into the gym this morning, the one guy who works there said "what a big boy!" to K. She was dressed in floral pants, a pink hoodie, and a bow. WTAF?

So i put her in the rock n play when she woke up after 30, and she napped like a champ. Oh boy. We have regressed like 4 months...
Kids services were so adorable and LO had such a great time! H said after, we should have had kids years ago... that's way more fun than regular services. Lol

Yes, family is the best part!! Food a close second. Bud and I went to see family by ourselves (H had to work and isn't invested in my holidays and I wasn't able to get down in time for services)--down and back yesterday. What was a 3 hour drive one way turned into a 4.5 hour drive one way, and poor Bud had his first CIO session when he decided he was unhappy right after leaving a service area and not having another stop along the expressway for 50 miles. I took a gamble on whether to feed him or let him sleep after I gassed up the car and obviously made the wrong decision. But other than that and his surprise projectile vomiting all over my uncle's fancy carpet, everyone had a great time.
ETA: I wasn't a horrible mom like I made it sound and made him cry for an hour. There was a closed off truck stop I couldn't use after we got through the toll booths and he stopped crying and fell asleep again after 20 minutes. It was hard for both of us, because I am not a CIO person.

I have to tell the nanny today about the new deal I cut with work and that I don't need her anymore except for a few hrs here and there if she wants them but nothing super steady... eep. Happy about work but hate to have the conversation with her

I'm pumping in the car even though "the restroom is really nice and that's what everyone else uses." I'd like to tell them that I'll pump in a bathroom as soon as they start eating their lunch in there. I'm so sick of fighting this battle.
