I don't like most fleece pajamas because they are mostly made from polyester and don't breathe well. I try to do all cotton or at least a blend that is mostly cotton. Also, most fleece jammies have flame retardant, and I won't use pajamas with those chemicals in them.
Your dd sleeps the same as mine - starts in her crib and moves to our bed. I think I am going to cotton pajamas with a fleece sleep sack, and take off the sleep sack when she moves into bed with me.
I have both. I go with how I feel for the night. I have a thermometer in both girls rooms to judge temp. I think most, almost all pj's, have fire retardant on them. I've actually seen them recalled for not having fire retardant on them.
We have those bamboo kickee pants sleepers (so soft!) and a warmer sleep sack (E is in the crib)
I bought some kickee pants because sooo cute, but L is too stout for them! Like way. She was a little sausage stuffed inside. They are so soft and wonderful though.

E's a such a chubby thighed thing (go boobs) that I can see the sausage thing but they're sooooo soft and cuddly!

I either do cotton jammies with a thicker sleep sack or fleece jammies with a thinner sleep sack. I don't know that I've bought any myself - no, not true, just remembered that I bought 2 cotton sleepers for DD2 when she was about 9 months old. Otherwise they've all been gifts, so I work with what I've got
DS has a mix of both. I keep the temp around 74-76 over night. If he's wearing cotton, then I'll put the blanket over him. The fleece ones I usually leave uncovered. I personally like the fleece ones better because they seem more comfy and cozy. I feel his chest and hands overnight to make sure he's not overheating or chilly, too.

We are in Michigan and we do cotton. That little boy is his own furnace.
I do have a set of fleece and I do not know if he will ever wear them. I would prefer to let the house get down to 60 at night like we used to, but we are keeping it at a constant 68.
