I can't go to work without makeup either! My commute is 45 minutes without traffic. Ugh, I'm so not looking forward to any of this! I was up in the motn and DH asked how I was feeling today. I said fine; I think my body is used to it by now. But ask me again when I've been at work all day instead of cuddling my baby...
zengalcalimomof1 Add me to the roll in at 9am club. I don't have a far commute, but city traffic and parking are a pain in the rear.
on the days I have to drop the baby off at my moms, I'm up at 7:45 for an 11a shift, but she lives 25 minutes out the way, and I like to get to work early because parking is a pain for me too downtown.
Today I drove around our parking garage for 20 minutes before I finally got one...it's super cold and windy today and I was not going to walk to work! and I still had time to grab some coffee before clocking in, so its been a good start today.

spikesmom - congrats on the new house!! turtles7 - I would probably be annoyed but would likely let it slide. wildflower810 - whew 12 hours!! That's awesome!! jfh - I'm so jealous you are going snowboarding!! I live 1 hour from a great ski resort and yet my snowboard is collecting dust in the garage. Have fun!! pixie523 - you used your clarisonic ?!?! Genius!! Lo has a couple of dry patches, I may try this. kaimee27 - have fun babysitting! We watch our 1 yr old nephew occasionally & it's fun but is a good workout too!
My house looks like a bomb went off in it. Lo has been sick so he wants to be held more than usual. I'm tempted to call my mom & ask her to come over & hold him while I clean my house. But then I feel guilty asking her to do that.

Me today. It was 5 ounces but I tried not to cry and did. So embarrassing. Then I tried cleaning it up because it was spilled in my lunch cooler. I was trying be stealth about it but fighting back tears too. Get to my cube and bawl my eyes out.

Uh, I've cried over way less. 5 ounces and I would've been hysterical. Hugs!
Work is interfering with my PB time ? In other news we are closing on our new house tomorrow so now the craziness begins! We will own two homes until we sell our condo which we are hoping won't take too long!

pixie523 - solid point! I texted dh & he said he'd help clean this weekend. My mom would come in a heartbeat though.
songbirdsinging55 - ugh!! I'd have balled too! Do you all remember someone on TB who lost a freezer full of stored breastmilk because someone unplugged it by accident? Who was that? I still want to cry for her over that!
Currently getting over being sick here. Our daughter came down with RSV on the 1st, the little guy had it by the 4 and H and I got it over the weekend finally. Can't wait to have a healthy house again! I'm so over coughing and runny noses.
LO slept for almost 12 hours last night. Twelve. He woke up twice to eat and then went right back down. He was down for the night at 10 pm. I could get very used to this!
I'm pumping to donate and am struggling with production. I'm spending 20ish minutes pumping to get barely an oz (this is on the side that M doesn't eat on). I know the issue is not triggering a let down. So today I tried pumping *while* nursing so that M got my let down going good and strong. Ta-da! I felt a bit like an octopus, but it worked! I nearly doubled my milk production *and* didn't feel like I was taking time away from M by pumping for another baby.
Now if only I could get over this dang cold that's making me miss events, including ones I've already paid for.
Feel better soon! you deserve to enjoy those events.

Yes! That was wicked22 I think! I cried for her too.
For some reason I can only see one post even though it says 50 are here?
I've already had to change my work schedule to just work Saturdays. H is struggling with watching Liam and working. He has so far has his 15 year old sister watch him alone. And then now his super old grandmother to watch him alone and I am just not comfortable with that.

My baby is so pissy today and I have no clue what her problem is. If she's not eating or taking one of her 40 minute cat naps she is crying for no reason. I keep looking at the clock wishing it was closer to 5:30 and DH will be home. I don't like to just hand over LO when he gets home because his job is rough and he needs a break just as much as I do when he gets home but today I may hand him the baby and run away for an hour. I need a mainline of wine today.
jjh1119 Mmm, yeah I wouldn't be thrilled with those arrangements either. Strangely the grandma would bother me more than the teen, but I baby sat since I was 12 and had much younger siblings so I was well versed in baby.
runnershan follow the wine with some cookies. The long pissy days are so hard.
Thank god it is my Friday today! I just want to snuggle my baby all day tomorrow but I'm going to my dads for the day bc my H and his dad are going to be tiling our shower tomorrow and it will be loud and messy in our 600sqft condo. On the plus side we close on the new house in the afternoon! We Have to wait an additional 30 days for the sellers to move which seems like an eternity in our tiny condo but will probably fly by! Our new house is almost 4x as big as our condo, I can't wait for all that space!!
Attempted to make a valentine for DH with LO's handprints around a picture frame mat. Who knew it would be so damn hard. It turned out sort of cute, though.
I got this month's Stitch Fix in and I was so happy with it! I want to keep all 5 pieces! Do any of you Stitch Fix?

Due to my extended maternity leave we are just about broke. So no Valentine's Day this year...that makes two holidays in a row I'm "sitting out"... But it's ok. LO is the gift that keeps on giving.

I tried to make footprint art with my LO and it turned out terrible because he wouldn't stop moving! I give up.
2 month shots today, handled it pretty well at the time, seemed fine for an hour or so. Took a nap and when he woke up...OMG , screaming like I've never heard. It was heartbreaking, real tears and all. My husband ran out and got Tylenol, and he fell asleep about half hour later. Hoping he gets a good long sleep in, dreading the middle of the night!
