pixie523 I was more upset about the grandma too. I mean, I know she's had children but she is old and Liam is close to 16 lbs and super wiggly. I would fear she would have dropped him. We might see what we can do so I only have to work at the salon on Saturdays- we do lots of weddings year round and I much prefer to do updos all day than anything else, so I wouldn't mind just doing weddings.
catlady22 I tried to make a cute footprint ornament and nope, came out awful. Lol damn wiggly feet. He kept scrunching his toes! Didn't even look like a foot.
npg1982 poor thing. My little guy screamed and was very uncomfortable after he woke up from the first nap after the shots, but he slept well that night and had no additional issues or dosages of tylenol
Attempted to make a valentine for DH with LO's handprints around a picture frame mat. Who knew it would be so damn hard. It turned out sort of cute, though.
I got this month's Stitch Fix in and I was so happy with it! I want to keep all 5 pieces! Do any of you Stitch Fix?
I've thought about it. What's the cost like on pieces?
I haven't had time to post all day. I was at work. LO has a cold and was coughing, so I called doc. Passed on the instructions to DH. All he had to do was sit in the fucking bathroom with the hot water running for the steam, and use the saline spray in LO's nose.
Neither of those things happened. And he wonders why I am livid.
Time for pity, party of one. It's my birthday this weekend, and Valentine's, and President's day. Want to guess how many of those H is working? Yup. All of them. He literally doesn't have a day off until a week from tomorrow (hasn't had a day off since Sunday). This time last year I would have killed a puppy if that made him have a job, and he will get paid overtime... but seriously? The first weekend he has to work is a double holiday weekend that also happens to be my birthday?
At least M seems to be down for the night at 9 pm. Makes up for a day with only one decent nap! I'm off to shower. You know, the thing where you wash your hair? Yeah, I forget what that word means too.
runnershan Hugs to you! You deserve a glass (or 3) of wine tonight! Your husband will understand. Taking care of a baby all day is NOT easy.
However, I'm envious of your LO's naps! Mine only takes 15-20 minute naps throughout the day.
Wow I'm so sorry for you!! I thought my LO was bad!! She only takes exactly 40 minute naps. You could set a clock by her naps. But at least she's taking them now. I've been working with her the last couple weeks and she's made a lot of progress.
But I currently have a huge glass of wine so the day has greatly improved.
npg1982 isn't that heartbreaking? My lo did the same exact thing, I thought she was going to be ok but when she woke up from her nap she freaked out. I did end up giving her one more dose of Tylenol before bed that night and she was all better the next day. Hope your lo feels better.
My random: lo was on my lap last night chewing on her hands and quickly pulled out one of her fingers and must have cut her mouth with her nails or something because she totally freaked out. It was that awful, red faced cry where no sound comes out for a second and then all hell breaks loose. Poor baby, it was a worse cry than when she had her shots!
Ha. Number one rule of the Sleep Club is that you don't talk about the Sleep Club. I jinxed myself.
H better get home. soon.
I'm so sorry for you but this cracked me up. Same exact thing happens to us all the time. I just read this to my husband and he said "were not alone!!" Ha!
I can't go to work without makeup either! My commute is 45 minutes without traffic. Ugh, I'm so not looking forward to any of this! I was up in the motn and DH asked how I was feeling today. I said fine; I think my body is used to it by now. But ask me again when I've been at work all day instead of cuddling my baby...
So true! This is my first week back at work and I'm beyond exhausted. I start the day with headaches and end it with dizziness from lack of sleep and general fatigue. My brain shuts down at 4:30 and all I want to do is go home and cuddle with my LO in bed. Grumbling stomach be damned. My feet hurt so much too. I guess heels aren't as forgiving on the feet as house slippers.

Oh gosh! It sounds worse than I imagined, and I didn't even think about the heels! I got my nails done today and I made them a dark depressing color, so they will match how I feel next week.
moonandbackzengal - this is my 6th fix and it has been getting better each time with the more feedback I leave. You can choose your price points. I have it on mid-range. The stuff they send me is anywhere from $30-$70. Great quality brands and they even have maternity! You can choose to keep singular pieces or get a 25% if you buy it all. I'm rather large chested and this time every top fit me! You can choose to get tops, bottoms, dresses, and accessories. I have it set on tops only until i lose all the baby weight.
catlady22 - yeah the handprints don't look super, but i figure at least it's unique. I would have thought footprints would be easier! My LO is a wiggle freakin worm now, though. Never still anymore

wildflower810, I'm all over the place! Craft Corner, School Age (even though I don't have a school aged kiddo, I'm a nosy teacher), Parenting, 3-6 Months, Baby Gear, Preschool, Here
moonandback I saw you in 3-6 months when I was lurking over there, but I use the app and didn't know you were such a prolific poster! You'll be....what's next, bronze? before you know it!

Well my little guy loves to kick..so definitely not any easier. For DH's valentines gift I resorted to tracing LO's hand which is only semi-better looking.
pixie523 - solid point! I texted dh & he said he'd help clean this weekend. My mom would come in a heartbeat though.
songbirdsinging55 - ugh!! I'd have balled too! Do you all remember someone on TB who lost a freezer full of stored breastmilk because someone unplugged it by accident? Who was that? I still want to cry for her over that!
Yes! That was wicked22 I think! I cried for her too.
Yeap that was me over Christmas, I had so much horrible crap going on from Monday- Sunday. I was sick with a head cold, there are no words to describe the baby dad issues that occurred that entire week. I was home alone with kiddo learning to be a single parent (my sis was at he BF's 99% of the time). By the time I learned about the freezer I was just so numb to it that I just walked away, put my still frozen target bag stash back in the upstairs freezer, and went to bed.
