I need more info about Billy Bush's reaction to all of this. Yes, I listened to the audio and he is obviously laughing through the whole thing. But it sounded...uncomfortable to me. Did he not know wtf to say? Did he think Trump was being funny? Was he so appalled he laughed because he didn't know what to do?
Billy Bush made the actress he had ogled earlier in the convo hug Donald. Rewatch it. He acted as an enabler.
It sounded to me like Bush pointed her out to Donald in the first place. I cant express the rage I felt watching their smug fucking faces while Bush asked her for hugs and Donald is there sucking his fucking tic tacs... Looking at her like she was some clueless piece of ass. Fuck them both with something hard and sandpapery.

@sundae13, that is great.
Trump is so fucking disgusting. How much regret do you think Pence has right now?
I remember how much I disliked Romney in 2012. What I wouldn't give to have him in the race this year and not have to know there are awful humans in this country who support someone like Trump.

Mr. Bush, 44, issued a statement on Friday evening, writing: “Obviously I’m embarrassed and ashamed. It’s no excuse, but this happened 11 years ago — I was younger, less mature, and acted foolishly in playing along.”

In the "apology" video he called his comments "foolish". Me sampling 6 different chili dishes at work without taking beano was foolish. This is...disgusting.

And he tries to turn it on the Clintons. Just so disgusting.

I’ve never said I’m a perfect person, nor pretended to be someone that I’m not. I’ve said and done things I regret, and the words released today on this more than a decade-old video are one of them. Anyone who knows me, know these words don’t reflect who I am.
I said it, it was wrong, and I apologize.
I’ve travelled the country talking about change for America. But my travels have also changed me. I’ve spent time with grieving mothers who’ve lost their children, laid off workers whose jobs have gone to other countries, and people from all walks of life who just want a better future. I have gotten to know the great people of our country, and I’ve been humbled by the faith they’ve placed in me. I pledge to be a better man tomorrow, and will never, ever let you down. Let’s be honest. We’re living in the real world. This is nothing more than a distraction from the important issues we are facing today. We are losing our jobs, we are less safe than we were 8 years ago and Washington is broken. Hillary Clinton, and her kind, have run our country into the ground.
I’ve said some foolish things, but there is a big difference between words and actions. Bill Clinton has actually abused women and Hillary has bullied, attacked, shamed and intimidated his victims. We will discuss this more in the coming days.
Paul Ryan said Trump is no longer invited to Wisconsin. I don't know if my link worked.
Wasn't Ryan just about to start stumping for him too?
I just read that Ryan is still going to campaign for them but only with Pence not Trump. What a coward. He won't come out and say he is not voting for Trump even after this video.
Does that statement sound like something Trump would say? (Edited because I originally thought video apology and written statement were different.)
It's real rich to try to deflect with accusations against Bill Clinton again (to be fair he has admitted affairs and also been accused of assaults), since Trump has been accused of sexual assault too, and these statements lend credibility to those accusations.

Cnon, I am choosing to believe that you hang out here because in your heart of hearts you really want us to convince you it's okay to not vote for Trump and to recognize that the Republican Party as it was no longer exists.
Perhaps you are a relatively polite, uninflammatory troll, perhaps you have delusions of Don Quixote grandeur, perhaps you really sympathize with a deplorable point of view.
Argue what you want and how you want, but I pity those who deny that respect and compassion for others are more important than strict adherence to political ideologies--especially those political ideologies which degrade or dehumanize others.

Eh idk, I don't have a problem w billy bush making trump comfortable and egging him on. The hugging thing at the end was disgusting though.
Really? You don't have a problem with him encouraging someone to talk about sexual assault? That's an odd way to look at it.
I think Trump is disgusting, and I think the whole boys will be boys locker room talk thing is bullshit... you shouldn't just be a decent human being when you think women are listening.
I just think billy bush was being a reporter/journalist or whatever he is and making trump feel more open to talk...I don't see him engaging in this type of banter on the regular (he sounded super unnatural), unlike Trump who is just a flat out awful human being. I'm not that invested in WKing Billy Bush, just my 2 cents
Anyone still supporting Trump at this point is fucking deplorable. I've kind of held my tongue with some people I know because I live in a very conservative area but no more. Fuck Trump and anyone who still supports him. Human garbage.

He is so disgusting. I don't understand how women support him but they do. It's all over my FB. I could block but I like to know what the enemy camp is saying.
Has anyone seen the video of Ana Navarro going off on the Trump supporter commentator on CNN? Basically this blonde woman (I don't know who she is) tells Ana to stop saying "pussy" because her daughter might be watching. Ana loses her shit at her, rightfully. To me it sums up this entire shitshow. Trump can say whatever he wants but someone repeating it while criticizing him is offensive to atrump supporters. GTFO.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do we think Hillary's debate prep today is focused on responses about Bill, her "enabling" his behavior, etc.? (Answer: eleventy.)
I'm genuinely interested to see what her answers to this inevitable topic are, and what she uses it to address (as far as equality in the workplace, implicit bias and sexism again, etc.). I'm trying to put a positive spin on this whole shitshow or something, because I'm actually looking forward to her responses tomorrow night. I think she's gonna knock it out of the park.

Unfortunately, this was the origin of the private email server "scandal." So they were somewhat successful in damaging her politically. This of course led to the FBI investigation which also led nowhere.
These people won't hear any of it but at least you will have something to say when you wave bye-bye.
My normally reserved and eloquent husband is so pissed about it he posted this:
Donald Trump is an irredeemable piece of shit. I don't care if you dislike Hillary. I don't share people's distaste for her, but to the extent she's bad, it's a kind of "ordinary" badness typical of politicians. Trump is something else. He's a monster. He's not even worthy of respect much less anybody's vote. If after everything he's done and said you want to elevate THIS to the highest office in the land - telling my daughter and my sons (and everyone's daughters and sons) that THIS is what we value and respect - then fuck you

I am aghast at how many men are willing to say that discussions of assault and sex crimes are normal locker room conversations. So many ppl are outing themselves as creeps in this election.
This is what gets me. Trump is a terrible, awful person but he is just one man. The fact that millions of people not only support him but also agree with is what saddens and disgusts me. These people live in our communities and think this is ok.
As outraged as I am, I am actually somewhat terrified that this could cause him to actually withdraw. Take it from me as someone who lives in his state, Pence would be a lateral move from Trump and I think he could beat Hillary because people don't know about the deplorable things he's done. The thought of Pence in charge of Supreme Court seats makes me want to throw up. He is actually significantly more conservative than Trump and I would put money on the fact that he would make repealing Roe V. Wade a central goal to a presidency.
Fuck Trump. Fuck all of this. I just want this damn election to be over. I can't stop spiraling. I just want Hillary to win and this nightmare to be over.
Is there any precedent or is that how it works if he withdraws? The VP candidate becomes the nominee? That just seems so odd given that it's not even someone who was initially running.
