Hey there, friends. Didn't have too busy of a weekend, but just unintentionally disconnected a bit! It was nice spending 3 days at home, not feeling rushed to get ready for Monday. Got some cleaning done, caught up on laundry, and hung out with my cute kid and husband!
So, we have (had..) one of those rubber tile playmats in our living room. The little kitten would always play with the edge pieces and once or twice puked up little bits of it. On Sunday, she puked up a PILE of bits and has been acting sick ever since. I bought a rug yesterday and pulled the playmat up.. I've been wanting to do it for awhile. But now we're worried she has junk lodged in her somewhere?? I don't know.
Anyway. Short week! My boss is not in today and he'll be out most of the week helping with interviews. Should be a low stress week!
Not much going on here. I am feeling a million times better this morning. What a relief.
During DC drop off a little boy came up to M and lightly gave her a smack across the face. Grrrrrr... DON'T TOUCH MY BABY! It wasn't hard enough for her to even react, but it still irritates me. Mama bear was not amused.
SO is going hard on the pacifier. He wants it out of our lives. I'm trying to get on board with him. I'm going to hide her pacifiers whenever possible and try car rides without them. FX we can wean off the pacifier with minimal meltdowns.
malvo, yeah.. we were hoping vet wouldn't be necessary, maybe she just had an upset stomach and would feel better in a day or two. Not looking good :-\
Morning. I woke up thinking it was Thursday. Bummer.
We've been pretty boring lately. Got to wrap birthday presents for R tonight while she's at her moms. Her birthday is Saturday, but it's not our weekend. So we'll do dinner and presents on Thursday evening. I can't believe she'll be 11!!
sjep922 Yes, M has also started sucking her fingers when the pacifier isn't available. Apparently I did the same thing when I was little. My step-mom was all, "OMG! She looks just like you!" Great. People only notice a resemblance between us when she's sucking on her fingers 🙄

I'm in a pissy mood today. I am SO TIRED of my husband. He doesn't do anything. Ever. Except watch cartoons and complain about not having sex. I'm sorry, I have to do EVERYTHING in addition to working 2 full time jobs. I am sorry that he goes to bed at 8 because he is "tired" and I have to stay up to finish laundry, do LLR, lesson plan, whatever. He watches the kids by himself for about an hour everyday after work and he acts like that is so exhausting he cannot possibly do anything else. He is always like "Sit down, relax" but since he can't do anything I can't. I know that some things are hard for him with his bad hips, but for real, he could take some responsibility.

Oh, and I bought baby food this morning so we cam start M on orange and yellow vegetables. My baby is so big! I'm hoping with some real food he sleeps a little better.
The difference between kid 1 and kid 2-I am not even pretending to make my own food this time lol. I did buy organic, but store bought FTW!
graciest719, you are not alone . ALSO HOW IS YOUR BABY ALREADY OLD ENOUGH TO EAT REAL FOOD?!?! You just had him. Yesterday. I'm a huge crazy about food, but.. yeah.. I am slowly letting go of my crunchiness. OKAY, eat THE WHOLE box of Cheez-its. Will that make you quiet? Here, let me dump it out for you. Not even sure what my #2 would eat if I have one... lol.

ladymike, I can't believe it either! M is 4 months, but he is a monster. Little rascal grew 4 inches between August and October. He is always hungry, so we are jumping in. I am still more crunchy than most (I cringe at what Jo eats at the babysitter sometimes) But I am letting go. Once I realized that Goldfish make the perfect snack with wine, I am so the mom in Target with the giant box of Goldfish AND the giant box of wine. No more of that Annie's Organic Cheddar Bunnies for us-those damn bags are too small!
My child has now decided to gag when we sneak food into her mouth (like, trick her with "Here comes the airplane!" or make her laugh). She's so f'ing dramatic.

@megaugust10, Goodluck today!!
ladymike,Poor kitty! I hope it doesn't turn out to be a costly vet visit
malvo, I HATE when other kids hit/push/shove my child. I try not to make a huge deal out of it but whyyyy are kids such assholes?
graciest719, ugh sorry about your hubby right now sometimes mine can be like that and I threaten him with a girls weekend away where he's solo with the baby. Sometimes they just need a major reality check. Hope it gets better!

Hi! I haven't fully caught up yet but flat0422 HEY GIRL! I missed you, and I hope your doing well
Also took the long weekend as a time to unplug and hang with my baby and husband. We also had thanksgiving dinner with the inlaws on sunday night which was nice. My family usually only celebrates american thanksgiving oddly enough, so we'll have another dinner next month.
I have been on a hunt for the reese peanut butter cups filled with the reeses pieces and cannot find them anywhere, is it only in the states?!?! I have only seen them from the earlier post on here so i'm thinking it is. I need them in my life though
So, I don't know why, but I'm in the fourth week of my BC pack and still no AF. Where is she?! She's always on time and always comes when I start this particular week of pills. It's freaking me out a bit. Let's get the show on the road! NO BABIES.

maddisonrose, I don't even want a girls weekend, I just want a weekend ALONE lol. In his defense, he is really good. He picks up the kids every afternoon after work and has them alone for 1-2 hours before I get home. But aside from that and taking the trash and recycling off (we don't have curbside pickup so we have to take it to the dump), thats pretty much all he does. We got a cleaning lady so that is a load off, but there is still cooking, laundry, and the general day to day picking up that feels overwhelming.
We've been feeling disconnected. I think it's time for a serious talk.
H said i could get my chest piece finished before we move so i called the tattoo shop and the lady i want only has one appointment available before 2016, thursday at 5. Shit! Thats a lot sooner than i thought. I hope i can get out of work!!

graciest719, A good discussion always helps us when we are feeling disconnected. Especially if its over a bottle of wine or some beers. Takes a bit of the edge off. Hopefully you guys can get some time to have one!
@megaugust10, Can I order them online and have them shipped to me!?
