Let's get this rolling. DS1 woke up coughing and wheezing. I started his nebulizer treatment with albuterol and noticed he felt warm. 103 fever folks. Yippie.
We had another rough night here of so many wakeups, I lost count. MM suit will be here tomorrow. In the meantime, we will be taking naps. Lots of naps.

Just found out that people are being laid off in my department. now I get to wonder if I will have a job when I get back. I make more money than H right now but if I am forced to find another job in this area I will have to take a huge pay cut.
We are just relaxing today while I worry about our future.

Wow rough Wednesday already on July 16 hugs, wine and coffee to all. I just need stamina today my husband won't be home until 7 so I have to do most evening activities on my own.
R started rolling from back to belly over the weekend. We stopped swaddling and he slept fine on his back for a few nights. Last night he rolled onto his stomach 4 times and slept on his stomach all night. I guess it is good we retired the swaddle
Sorry for the rough start to the day for so many of you!
We had a good night that ended not so well. 2nd wake up was at 5:45 so I brought E into bed. And then he had an explosive poop that got all over him, me, and the sheets. Fun!
I remember the poop thread a couple weeks ago where I was complaining that E pooped 8 times a day. He must have heard me bc his frequency has decreased significantly. He didn't poop yesterday so of course we were due for an explosion!
sarcaztic10 I'll keep my fingers crossed for your job. I'm sorry you have to worry about it.
I'm sitting in the parking lot at Costco feeding L before we go in. It's gorgeous out, I wish I'd worn my sandals! I'm really struggling with clothes and what to wear right now. I don't want to buy too much because a) money and b) trying to lose the baby weight. I need to do a serious clean out of my closet because half the stuff is maternity or doesn't fit, and then assess what I really need.
I think L has a stomach bug or something. He was up from 2-4:30 crying last night unless I rocked him (has never done that before), and just had three separate vomiting episodes this morning, and he never vomits. Poor thing was laying down for the last one so it came out his nose and went into his eyes. He got so scared. Now he's dozing as I rock him but he keeps gagging/coughing and waking himself up. Poor buddy.
I'm scared to feed him again when he acts hungry. I just started gas drops in his bottles yesterday so I'm wondering if maybe that's what is causing the issue.
STMs is this something I should call the pedi for or just have to ride it out?

I started back at work Monday and I feel like a fucking truck hit me. I'm off today but Monday was crazy busy & long, and I had to solo parent after work yesterday. I'm off today so me & E snuggled up in bed most of the morning. It's gonna take awhile for me to get back into the swing of things. Monday I was out the door by 6am & didn't get home until 8:30pm...I could barely keep my eyes open long enough to shower! 😴

This is me too. I put all my maternity stuff minus pants in a box for a friend. I sorted through the other and made a "fits" "hopefully will fit again" and "donate" pile lol
I plan to go work wear shopping the weekend after I go back to work. Maximum weight loss time allowance lol
Today is DD's first day of daycare. We are easing into it - half days this week and next, then full time. I'm a bit anxious. She has been at work with me since July, so big adjustments.
willow is he staying hydrated? Good number of wet diapers? No fever? If so then I don't think the pedi will be able to do much but I always feel when in doubt call the nurses' line.
My BFF just texted that they updated the NICU board to say that her DS's anticipated discharge date is "not for a while". I feel so bad for her. This came out of nowhere, had a healthy pregnancy and none of the scans indicated there was anything wrong with his heart or lungs. So far the tests have revealed "oddities but nothing overly alarming" according to her.
I'm sorry for your BFF, ellebelle. That would be so stressful! And so far he's had two poopy/wet diapers since 7am and I just gave him an oz of formula and he passed out finally. He doesn't have a temp. I am hoping maybe it was just the gas drops don't agree with him.

Sorry your friend's little guy has to stay in the NICU, ellebelle. I hope they get him figured out soon!
willow I agree to call the nurses line if you have one. Maybe stop the gas drops and see if there's any change, and keep track of feeds and diapers for a bit! I hope he feels better soon!
I just got a call from DS1's daycare that they think he has HFM... I knew he had a rash on his feet but I chalked it up to running knee-deep in the lake wearing rainboots on the weekend and wearing them wet for hours (toddlers!). He had no fever when I checked him last night. Now apparently he's got a rash on his hands, too. I feel like an idiot for not catching it and sending him to daycare. Taking him to the doctor this evening.
sarcaztic10 my Dept just had major lay offs last week so I'm wondering the same thing...not sure how lay offs work when you are on maternity leave. I kind of assumed I was protected.

tikoberry99 your job is protected while you are on leave but once you go back they can let you go pretty much right away. My company has done this to a few people. They get back from leave and a week later are let go. It sucks because I am the newest employee in my department (I transferred in from another dept) so I feel like I will be the first to go.
PT went well, I like his therapist. Once a week for 12 weeks. Basically said his reflux is so bad the back arching tightened his muscles in the back on his head and he has a small preference for one side.
