tikoberry99sarcaztic10 I hope your jobs are safe. I got laid off when I was on maternity leave with my older son. They can't lay you off while on short term disability but can for the rest of your FMLA leave (1st 6 weeks was ST disability and I got laid off the next day).
I knew it was coming and wanted to stay at home anyway so it wasn't as bad as it sounds.
Last night of solo parenting. I'm tired but probably because of work and body combat. MIL watched baby and from what I can tell did a fantastic job. I came in and HK was in her crib drifting off too sleep without eating. Win!

Saw the doctor and DS1 does not have HFM... his rash has now spread all over his body. No fever, behaviour and eating is normal. Her best guess is a viral rash. So yay no HFM, but boo that the responsible thing is to keep him home from daycare tomorrow! Looks like I'll be watching Paw Patrol instead of trashy TV.
When I went to change F at the arena a woman I've never seen in my life goes "can I hold your little for you while you go? I think I'm on your team."
I'm in a "big" city 2 hours from home. In my head I'm going "STRANGER DANGER!!! BABY SBATCHER!!! How can you THINK Your kid is on the same team as mine? I've never seen you before!"
So I just say Uhm no thanks I'm changing him.
I thought it was so random and weird and scary.
Turns out - she really is just a mom of the new kid on the team that I've never met before because ahe normally works nights and she was just offering to help lol. I felt really bad afterwards even though I wasn't rude or anything lol
jenn83 whenever you refer to your daughter as HK, I read it as HP and wonder why you keep calling her Harry Potter!
Lol!! I have never really liked the DD/DS - don't ask because I don't know. But I can't call her H for obvious reasons so I go with her initials. Harper Kennedi
