How many naps a day is everyone on? How old is your lo? I'm frustrated with 3 naps. Some days she naps 40 minutes, others 1.5-2 hours. Then I have to wake her to make sure I fit in a third nap, which I also wake her from to make sure she has enough awake time before bed. I hate waking sleeping babies.
So today her second nap was 12-1:30. I woke her so she'd nap at 3:30-4:00. Except she wouldn't go down so I fought her to sleep for 4:00.
Think I should just try extending wake time to see what happens for a few days?

We dropped the third nap a week or so ago unless it's obvious she's going to fall apart before bedtime. Two naps aren't consistent at all though. Some days they are 45 minutes each and some days two hours. It's really frustrating.

I'm sorry you're frustrated! I'll respond, but I doubt I am going to be a helpful comparison at all.
Bud is almost 8 months, but 6ish developmentally. He doesn't have any siblings or any parental reasons for strict scheduled nap times.
We have a rhythm of a half hour nap in the morning and a two hour nap in the afternoon with 0-2 occasional catnaps of 15 minutes. Wake up for day around 5am, first significant nap falls sometime between 8:30 and 10am, second significant nap falls between 12:30 and 4pm, bedtime around 8pm.

LO is just over 7 months and we are at 2 or 3. I base it on her first nap of the day. If she naps for 1.5 hrs or more at the first nap I try and get her to go 3 hours in between and just do 2 naps. If it's shorter or she went down super early I make sure she is up by like 130 from her second nap so she will take a short third nap. Up from last nap by 430 or it messes with bed time. If she does 3 naps it's more like 2 hrs between them and longer at night.

A was 7 months on the 3rd. She wakes up 6:30/7. First nap at 9:30-10/10:15. Second nap 12:30-2:30/3. If she's really tired I'll let her nurse nap for 15 or 20 minutes around 5, then wake her up. In bed at 7:30. Our nap schedule isn't the perfect textbook schedule because of toddler activities. Most of the time the first nap is in the carrier while I supervise our play group. But she does fine with it. I've manipulated her naps since birth so her longest nap is at the same time as the toddlers. Mama needs a break!
My baby is not normal. He turned 7 months on the 3rd He's usually up by 7ish. Nap at 9ish for 30 or 40 mins. Nap at 12ish for 2 hours tops. And bed at 6:45 usually. I never have to wake him because he sleeps too long or is too close to bed time. Lol. That actually makes me laugh! He takes an extra nap on the weekends when he's home with us. Daycare has him on a 2 nap schedule.

7am wake 9-930 first nap (she wakes up because she poops. On the rare days she doesn't, she sleeps until 11). 1100-1130 second nap 2-3 third nap 530/6 fourth nap in carseat/carrier
I would really love for her to stop pooping during her first nap and just go straight through. I hate trying to schedule around two different naptimes because I feel like I can't ever leave the house.

We are lucky to get two naps and if one is longer than an hour we are extremely lucky. She goes to bed between 7 and 7:30. She typically is awake about 2 hours before her first nap.
Naps are very inconsistent. Max is 7mos. He wakes up by 6-630. His first nap is the car ride from home to my SIL which is a 30-35min drive. He sometimes stays asleep bit usually will wake up as soon as I take him out of the car. I drop him off by 8am. 2nd nap is around 12. 3rd nap around 3ish. All naps are 30-40min. On rare occasions he can take 1-2hrs naps. And if he does take a longer nap than he only does 2 naps. He is asleep by 730-8pm
J is 6 1/2 months. Naps are inconsistent between home and daycare. At home he usually takes 3-4 naps from 30 minutes to an hour long.) At daycare he naps 2-3 times a day and takes much longer naps (an hour to 2 and 1/2 hours.)
We're lucky if we get 2 short naps... at daycare they struggle to get her to nap, at home she naps best if I wear her but naps only last about a half hour.

But in all seriousness, K has dropped both her morning nap and her early evening nap. She only takes one 2 hour nap now. This is me everyday now after work because my tiny overtired demon child is screaming at the top of her lungs for two hours unless I'm holding her (wearing her only works about 50% of the time)

This is us too. So I will drink with you. Right now I'm listening to the dolcent sounds of screaming baby. He just simply refuses to sleep and he hates all the things. Day drinking is ok, right?

Yes! Somedays, it's all that keeps me from literally running away.
I think I mentioned this in another thread, but we are back in the rock n play. It's ridiculous but she will actually sleep in there, unlike her crib. So if she wakes up after 30 minutes in the crib (most naps), i rock her back to sleep and put her in the rock n play. Then i usually have to wake her after an hour. It makes me sad/frustrated because i know she is tired if she is sleeping that long in the rock n play, but just wont do it in the crib! Grrr
