This week is going by too fast.
S is fighting sleep and has been for the past 2 days. I am pretty sure he needs to poop but he hasn't been able to have his usual massive poop 1x a day. He has just had one or two little poops. He is squirming and acting uncomfortable. I have tried bicycling his legs but he tenses up. Poor kid.
My husband has been in a huge depressed funk the last couple days. I've been feeling great due to better baby sleep and it's hard and disappointing to tiptoe around him when I feel energetic for the first time in 4+ months. And he's going out of town sat-Monday, boo.
DD1, baby and I are going to PBK to have Baby R's name put on her Christmas stocking. I think I bought it in 2012, at the same time as DD1 because I wanted them to coordinate lol. So happy to finally have a baby to use it for
Glad you're getting more energy, katelou! Too bad about YH though. Maybe the weekend will do him well.
A has his first cold. Poor babe. He also made himself like while nomming on his hands/fingers. Fun.
On the plus side, it's the anniversary of the frozen transfer! A year ago today I was in an OR, my feet in stirrups, and watching the ultrasound screen as they placed him in my ute while Drops of Jupiter played over the loudspeakers. Then came the longest 9 days ever until I found out it was successful!! I have a full heart today.
We are chillaxin. Catching up on last nights shows. Waiting for the paint to dry so we can put all of the trim, shelves, etc back up and get out of renovation mode.

My H is flying out for the weekend for a wedding and I'm at a level 10 freak out about being trapped with these kids until my mom visits Saturday afternoon. He and I got in an argument because he assumed I would enjoy driving him (and the kids) to the airport in rush hour. Needless to say, he's taking an uber.
Other than that, I have a grocery list to tackle during afternoon preschool.

DS1's rash is looking better today, so I took him to the playground. It took a freakin' hour and a half to get us out the door, thanks to toddler shenanigans and a baby that wouldn't stop eating. But it was worth it, we were out of the house almost two hours and DS1 is looking ready for a nap!

Its been crazy at work today...i am solo (there are only two of us normally here)at our office this week and everyone is calling and asking about things i dont know about or its been 12 weeks since I thought about it. I gotta get the cobwebs out of my brain. haha
Me and three girlfriends are getting together for a night in. We each pick a pin we want to try and bring the supplies for everyone to do it. At the end of the night everyone has 4 cool things. So far we have a Christmas craft, I'm doing button jewelry, another friend is doing home made candles, and another picked a recipe we'll make and then split to take home (or maybe just eat there lol)
Could pick anything though, nail art, teach a cleaning hack, make a piece of art etc.
It's been a long day here. I try my hardest to stay positive and optimistic, but being stuck in the house is the worst. I'm tired, smelly, and irritated.
Ds1 has a sinus infection with a nasty cough. B was screaming like the car seat was made of lava so I didn't get a chance to pick up DS1 s Antibiotic yet.

Took dd to the pedi this morning, torticollis was confirmed. Stretches should do the trick, so that's good. And got a flu shot while there, arm is hurting a bit.
We're having some nasty rain and wind storms starting today through next week. If my basement doesn't flood and we don't lose power I will be shocked.
melody330 hugs, having sick kids is rough. If you're desperate for DS1's antibiotic, I say just put B in his car seat even if he is screaming. It won't be fun, but if he's fed and dry, it won't hurt him. And get yourself a fancy drive thru coffee if you can!
DH seems to have got me sick. DS seems a bit off. Spitting up a ton more. Shorter and more fitful naps. Also fighting them big time. Just more grumpy in general
Sorry to hear there are so many sick mamas and LOs! Feel better everyone!
I went to visit my old work today and it was so great. I miss all my old coworkers and Irene was pretty content the whole time. I'm anxious about starting a new job but I know the schedule will be better for my family. And Irene took about 1/3 of an ounce from a bottle today and was actually sucking on it so that was progress. I know they say to use the slowest flow nipple possible for BF babies so they don't prefer the bottle but I am starting to think she is just really frustrated with the bottle because I have a fast let down. Tomorrow we'll try a faster flow nipple and see how she does. I just need some reassurance that she'll eat when I'm gone from her for 9 hours come next month.
On another note my BFF texted that they are probably intubating her DS tonight. He is just working way too hard to breathe on his own right now. We're going to take her DD1 for the weekend for a "sleepover party" so they can just worry about running to and from the hospital and not carting her around too. (Their other DD will stay with her grandma).
