Hanging out with my mom and the kiddos. Getting ready to go clothes and grocery shopping. Mom and I will go see DH's band for a little while tonight. I'm excited and love having her around.

After a couple of busier weekends we're sticking close to home this week. I made pancakes for breakfast, started folding the laundry, and now I have babies napping on me.
My brother is in town and we're getting together for dinner tomorrow. I'm excited for that since I don't get to see him very often!

We were up from 10:45 to 1:45 last night, then every hour after. I'm a mess. I barely made it to his swim class this morning. Thankfully he took a long nap and I managed to get one too, kid better make it up to me tonight or I'm leaving him at the fire station
Married 10/10/10! TTC Baby #1 since April 2014 BFP Oct 16 - EP terminated Nov 6 2014 Off the Bench January 2015! BFP #2 June 1 2015 - EDD Feb 12 2016! Baby Boy born 15th February 2016!
Also, I read the title of this like like Bone Thugs n Harmony.
I tutored this morning and now I have to spend a few hours working to meet this final deadline. It's been a crazy week. I'll be glad when this project is done. Our house is a mess and I feel like I've just been treading water/slightly drowning this week. Hopefully watching the Cubs win and maybe a bonfire with friends tonight!

Happy weekend ladies! I worked last night so I slept this morning for a couple hours while SO took the kids to a fall festival. I'm always kind of impressed that he wrangles both kids so easily at things like that. I do it every day but he makes it look easier. And nothing about 3yos is easy. Now we are relaxing and I'm trying to convince L that a nap is a good idea...
We are working on babyproofing this weekend. Are you guys ditching the coffee table for a while or leaving it as is? Are you for or against corner protectors? I'm thinking of just rearranging my living room to be more suited for baby play instead of trying to fix what we have now, and putting the coffee table downstairs until he's a more steady toddler. Idk. It's too many decisions. Lol

We don't have a coffee table but we tried to put corner protectors on the edges of our wood countertop because they are not rounded in the slightest, so when DS got tall enough that his head could possibly hit them when he was running around it made us nervous. They wouldn't stick very well, they kept falling off. So we gave up. I guess if anyone knows of a good brand with a good adhesive I'm all ears.
Hey hey! DH is fishing today. The kids and I went to my moms for a while. It was time to leave to come home so DD could nap and DS asked if he could stay at Nana's, so she told him to stay and help her rake. He wants to spend the night but I don't know, we'll see. DD is jabbering in her crib, I'm hoping she gets on with it and falls asleep soon so I can enjoy some quiet time to myself.

I got some cheap ones on amazon, and they seem to stick fine when not bothered, but I could see him ripping them off and trying to eat them. Having them on makes me nervous and having them off makes me nervous, haha.
We don't have a rug in our living room so we moved the coffee table downstairs since DS was pushing it around. I haven't gotten corner protectors although I guess I could for our tv stand
Ran a bunch of errands today. Last night was a get together for a family member 's bday so that was fun but DS stayed up later as a result then woke up early today.
Tomorrow is taking the dog for a walk with some other dogs and then a get together where DS will hang out with h while I have some adult time
This girl cannot fall asleep to save her life, which isn't typical for her. She's not upset, just busy and can't quit. She's yawning, I've nursed and rocked her and she just keeps talking and making silly noises so I put her back in her crib. I'm giving her 10 more minutes and then I'm giving up and then she can stay up until bedtime. No supper time naps in this household.

We ditched the coffee table and got end tables instead.
It's actually been busy at work today! I'm currently pumping. TMI something is going on with my body. Either I'm ovulating or my period is going to come back soon. I can't tell which it is. Also, it's a good day when your pants don't cause muffin top. I'm down another pound, so 3 since the end of last month! Eating cleaner really does help. Now if I could just get some exercise in.
I took the kids for a little walk this morning. We walked H to work, and the kettlecorn vendors were at the market so I bought a small bag. So yummy! We ended up seeing a bunch of blue jays on our walk home as well. So cool.
Then we all took a long nap this afternoon. DS and I slept for about 2.5 hours, and DD slept for 3. So I feel nice and refreshed.

We don't have a coffee table, but I'm in the process of shopping for a new entertainment unit since ours is glass and has a lot of sharp corners. I want doors on this that I can put a baby latch on. Old one will transition downstairs into my mil's suite

We're in stomach virus hell. Last night DD1 puked all over her car seat, and had to have a bath as soon as we got home. Then she required a bath and full bedding change at 2 am for the other end. DD2 got an impromptu bath this morning as well.
I went to the store by myself earlier for pedialyte and a few other survival supplies, and got into an accident on the way home. It was just a fender bender, no one was hurt and neither of us got a ticket or anything. But it's still a headache to deal with. I have to take the cart on Monday for repairs, and ask the claims adjuster about replacing the car seats. At least our deductible is only $50, and the other driver has the same insurance as us.

Hey when can I hand him crayons and paper? I feel like it could be a good stocking stuffer from Grandma
You can give them to him whenever you want, just know that he will probably eat them for quite a while. You could always get them and store them till he's ready.

dreadpiratebuttercup that sounds awful. I really hope things start looking up and everyone feels better soon. I am very afraid of stomach bugs, I have never dealt well with vomit.
