Every so often when changing DD I smell something, and I kept thinking it was her. Granted I keep her very clean so I thought it was weird but chalked it up to maybe it's a girl thing... 🤔 Anyway, tonight we ate at my mom's so I used a wipe on her face to clean her up, which I don't normally do, and I smelled the stench. So I finally wised up and smelled the wipe and yuck! It's the wipe. And it's gross. We use Pampers Sensitive. I have a ton left, and will probably use them up since they aren't causing any kind of reaction or anything, but I think I would then like to switch.
Thinking avoiding Pampers and Huggies all together (DS gets rashy from Huggies and he still uses wipes occasionally). Do you use something else that you could recommend?
I've tried the babyganics from target and they're dry and weird. The amazon sensitive ones are okay, but the ones at the bottom are always soaked to the point of needing to wring it out. Ick. And I absolutely hate the babies r us wipes. They feel like sandpaper to me.

We mostly cloth diaper and use cloth wipes, but for the rare occasions we use disposables with the heavy duty diaper cream or something, I had picked up a pack of babyganics and then huggies natural care wipes. No complaints about smell with either.
We use seventh generation too, but the thick and strong. They're amazing. I feel like diaper changes with other wipes require sooooo many and they're thin and flimsy. These are strong but soft. And thick. Hence the name. Lol. Oh man, I'm tired.

The Pampers are thin and flimsy. We initially used them with DS and then I switched to Huggies as they are thicker. But DS developed sensitive skin and they were a trigger, so I moved back to Pampers.
I will have to try the Seventh Generation, I do use some of their other products and like them!

Another lover of Seventh Generation Thick and Strong. You pay more up front, but they're so thick you don't need to use as many as you do the others, so it evens out.
The free and clear ones I buy are still pretty sturdy FYI (in case you prefer the more "sensitive" kinds). I often only use one or two wipes with dirty diapers.
I have been using the kirkland from costco also. They are huge and have the right amount of moisture to them. I have tried a lot of different kinds so I will give you my review Honest: nice texture but not wet enough Seventh Generation: thick, possibly too wet, they left behind suds or something on her bum Pampers sensitive: thin but strong, right amount of wetness Water wipes: thin and strong, right amount of wetness, no scent (If you want really natural these would be what I would pick) Huggies: thicker but rip easily, nice and wet Amazon: I had one pack and honestly can't remember much about them so they probably weren't anything special.
I think that's all the kinds I've tried. If I think of anything else I'll update.

Yes generally I do. Hmm I'm going to have to do some research to see what the difference is, because I looked up the thick and strong ones on Amazon and I swear the package said free from scents and whatnot, so why have a separate free and clear option? I'll check it out.
Kirkland brand here. I love how big and strong they are. I find I use less when wiping bums so they last longer.
I felt like Huggies ripped too easily and I used way more when wiping a poopy bum. I liked pampers too, but also felt like I was going through them quicker.

I'm curious too. Isn't that their whole line?
If you look on their actual website, it appears they only have one type of wipe. Called free and clear, but they note that it is thick and strong and gentle. And when I look more on amazon, I think it might just be different packaging but all the same wipe. I think amazon may have just gotten creative with their labels, like they do on a lot of products...

Thanks for checking! Now I don't have to I will probably try these first and go from there!

We use Honest wipes and I LOVE THEM. They are super soft and very strong. Don't have to use as many. Perfect amount of wetness. I use them for everything now.

It's strange but DS reacted to Honest products! So I'm nervous to even use them anymore. I don't know why he would react to those and not other products with a bunch of crap in them. But they must use some ingredient that doesn't agree with him.

Same issue here. We use the pampers sensitive. I know a lot of people say they have a chemical smell but they smell like nothing to me. And DD hasn't had any problems with them with her sensitive skin. Which is good because we were given several large boxes of them and haven't had to buy any wipes yet.

W got diaper rash within an hour of using a pampers sensitive wipe. Weird how all babies are so different!

We use target up and up wipes, scent/dye-free. Right now I am using Aldi's brand of wipe (forget what they're called) and they are great! No issues, and definitely thicker than the target ones (and cheaper of course!)
