We have emerged from the great Vomit Fesr of 2016. DD still has a cough, but no fever and no vomit since Sat afternoon, so I'm taking her to school today. I have a hair appt this afternoon, so I can look fresh and cute before I start my new job on Wed. I'm also planning on taking a nap because, despite my kids both sleeping well, I slept like shit. I woke up several times to check the monitor, because they were both so quiet. Ahhh, motherhood...

prvc678 I'm so glad your DD is feeling better! Enjoy your hair appt!
I'm hoping to take the boys to Muddy Monday outdoor playgroup, but the forecast is rain. I'll go regardless of the rain, but often they cancel. There's an indoor playgroup I can go to if they cancel. Need to put on pants soon.
My 3 mo old has reverted to newbornhood. There is SO MUCH SCREAMING going on the last few days. She resists all my soothing methods and there doesn't seem to be a reason for it. Is this the 3 month growth spurt?
DH just informed me that his flight doesn't get in til 7 pm. I almost cried.

Yes, yes it is. Unless it's illness, the three month growth spurt was the end of my easy baby with DS1! It went on the longest and then we hit the infamous 4 month sleep regression. So it's basically been there years since I've slept! FX it goes quick for you!
My husband took me to the city to do some shopping. I'm already feeling overwhelmed.
On the plus side I'm in an awesome nursing lounge right now. It's just off the women's washroom and its full of leather chairs with side tables. Best mall ever lol

I am super cranky. The air is out and the facility is on lock down due to all the issues here, so of course its like almost 90 in October. And the medical area is like a sauna and the waiting room smells like BO. I'm ready to go home.

Work is slower today so I'm almost caught up on everything. They posted a recruiter position within the company so I applied. I think it would be such a great change from my current role, I'm really hoping they let me interview.

I'm so done with my laptop. I bought it in Aug 2015 and the internet stopped working on it April 2016. Geek squad was absolutely useless. So basically since April all I've been doing is storing pictures on it. Now my iPhone won't connect to it, so I can't even transfer my pictures onto it. I'm so pissed off and am seriously contemplating dropping it on purpose to get a new one. Need to review my insurance plan.

Dropping it sounds like a great plan! I'd be pissed too
We go to a playground where there are lot of SAHPs and nannies during the day. Many have been very kind to offer to push DD1 on a swing when I'm holding the baby.
So now DD1 thinks it's acceptable to harass strangers to push her. Today we went to a different playground where the swings are far from the play structure. I'd pushed her for two swinging sessions and said we were done with the swing. So she starts yelling at other parents to push her. One said she would because her son wanted to swing too, then he changed his mind. It ended in me dragging DD1 out of there while crying and insisting that the other mom was going to push her. Sometimes I am like OMG, where have I gone wrong with this kid? I was afraid to talk to strangers at 4, let alone issue demands to them.

I'm in the yard with a glass of wine and Mal is on a blanket in a onesie because it's 82 and breezy this afternoon into evening and I'm not about to waste it.

So I have to share a pumping room with 3 other moms. Only one of us can be in there at a time and we all have to use it for 29-39 minutes 2-3 times a day. I am frustrated that my company couldn't fit another pumping room in to this brand new 7 floor building.
S did ok at daycare. He didn't sleep much but he took all of his bottles well.

We went to visit my Mom this weekend and took the kids to a pumpkin patch and two of my friends brought their kids. We had such a great time. Usually my Mom and I argue about something but we made it through the whole weekend!
Also, had a dr appt today and my dr thought my 2 month old was 4 or 5 months...I officially have a giant lol.
sarcaztic10 how frustrating. I did the math on that and 4 moms pumping for 40 minutes 3 times a day each adds up to a total of 8 hours. If all the moms pump back to back. Which isn't realistic at all.
katelou your DD1's playground escapades made me smile, but that would be really frustrating to deal with! You haven't gone wrong with her, she will get it eventually.
Is there just not enough room for more than one person sarcaztic10?
No, one chair one table and the door locks from the inside and the only one with the key is security. I asked security about setting up a schedule or something so we can be more organized but they blew me off. They said they have never had so many women using that type of room and that we would have to work it out amongst ourselves.

I typed up a detailed vent about my day and mood but what it comes down to is my husband thinks I have it really easy as a SAHM and I'm barely hanging on as he goes out to lunch and plays video games. Me talking about it goes over like my 4yo whining and makes things worse. It's unfair and the best thing I can do is ignore it and not make waves for now. I was fantasizing about murder as I scrubbed around the litter box during my "easy" day.
cabbagecabbage I'm sorry your husband doesn't get how much work a baby/child is.
Thanks. I am quick to thank him and assure him I see how hard he works for us. I just want some of the same from him. I'll bring it up soon when we're both calm and I can express myself without getting frustrated.

Hugs. I hope your conversation goes well. Has he ever had both kids on his own for an extended period of time? Sometimes that's a wake up call. I'm sorry he's not getting it!

And I'm so mad I posted it on the wrong day.
Hugs. Hope you and your husband can have a good talk.
