I'm here! I'm currently at the library with DD. It was her last Story Time for a month or two since next week this time I'll be getting prepped to have a baby.
I bought a flowy non maternity dress at ON over the weekend and I'm in LOVE. Currently considering going back to stock up on other colors.... I'm officially at the point that things are no longer fitting or I'm just running out of ideas.
Winnifred, I'm stuck in the in-between weather, which is making it difficult to dress myself. It's still breaking 90s in the daytime in Texas, but I want to wear my fall clothes. Also, jealous you're still making non-maternity things work. I just tall enough that the added bump makes regular length dresses a little to short for work.

I have been having a high anxiety day, probably all of my own doing really. Yay, but not really. I just really need the next 82 days to go by very quickly and without incident. The swelling is annoying.
Since we're moving things back into our house I've been packing up clothes I have at ILs house. It's impossible to believe I was ever that little, I can't even fit a leg in any of the clothes. Sadly I don't fit in any of my maternity clothes anymore either, so I've just been wearing Hs sweats.
Also, I'm enjoying a Iced pumpkin coffee (not a Sbx PSL) and a couple of double chocolate Milano cookies. My afternoon is already complete.
peaseblossom55 When is your next appt? Would anything help right now? Do you have a doppler and has that helped you?
Tomorrow morning is my next appointment. I never got a Doppler actually. I think it's a bit of freaking out about having baby furniture in the house, like somehow it will jinx everything.

In some good news I got a package in the mail yesterday and gift was sent to us from our registry. It was just a Carter's security blanket stuffed animal type thing. I cuddled with it before bed, it's so cute.

I just got my bloodwork report back!!!!!
Your results are negative. No chromosomal abnormalities detected in chromosomes 13, 18, 21, X or Y. This means there is a very low risk that your baby has a chromosome alteration, such as Turner syndrome, Down syndrome, trisomy 13 or trisomy 18.
I haven't clicked on the sex yet. I don't know how I'm going to keep my mouth shut until Saturday LOL

onesweetworld, I'll give you a bump shot - too bad the sweater and boots had to go! And so exciting about your test results! That was an amazing moment for us to get those results and I had to wait for my H to finish going to the bathroom so that we could find out the sex together. Glamorous, right?! I think you should just click on it!!
((hugs)) peaseblossom55! I've felt that way a few times but it would be crazy not to prepare for a baby that is sooooooo much more likely to be born and have a healthy life than not (that's what I've told myself to feel better about it).
lola, wear some leggings and you should be good to go! I'll admit the dress is a little shorter in front but it's still way longer than a tunic would be. I couldn't survive in TX, my hair freaks out over even the slightest humidity and I'm hot all the time anyway!
Hey Ladies-Random question-do we have a 1st tri check-in anymore? I may have missed it but it seems like it has been a few weeks without one. Is there a leader? How does life work? My brain is foggy so forgive me if I just missed the thread!

Start it! Any person can start them in that tri after next week someone will have to take over the 3rd tri check-in.
Oh my goodness I love that you snuggled it peaseblossom55 😊 Have you been talking to Duck too, reading her books and such, singing - or are you too nervous?
Tomorrow is supposed to hit 80 degrees here. Whaa? Where did fall go?
Also, I posted about this in my bmbs, but - we're biting the bullet and transitioning DD into her big girl bed as soon as we get her rail and sheets in from amazon. Eeek! Anyone with tips?

For crib to bed: Start with nap time... daycare had DS on a cot for nap time for about a month before we removed the front crib rail. He's now in the toddler bed but he needs the rail because he tries to lay with his head off the bed, silly boy.
For toddler bed to big bed: those soft railing things you can add to the side to stop them from rolling. I know people who went straight to big bed from crib who just used those soft rails until the kid learned to sleep against the wall
