plus 1 - i pump at least 5x a day but then nurse all night
I put the kibosh on MOTN feeds. We started real sleep training Monday and last night he slept 730-520 with a brief wake up at midnight for which he fussed for about 25min and put himself back to sleep. I nursed him at 520-535 and he slept till 730am. I know sleep training isn't for everyone. But we are all feeling much better around here. I had been just waiting for his weight to go up. The only downside is that I miss the snuggles.
That's great! We are still struggling with weight gain, so am feeding on demand still.

This is us too
We're on one MOTN feed but she seems to be drinking less at that time than before... usually one or two more wake ups just with stirring. She's in the PNP still so if the stirring is keeping me up I'll shhh or paci or rock if needed.
Ridley woke up from her nap and 30 minutes later is asleep again. I don't know what is up with her today. She can't decide if she wants to skip naps or sleep all day.

So DS usually takes about a 20-30 minutes evening. So when we get home. He is going on an hour and a half now. I tried to rouse him to feed him but he nursed and snoozed and is now back in a deep sleep. Part of me is glad he is resting since he hasn't felt well but the other part of me is scared that we will have a repeat of last night with frequent wakings. I guess we will see what happens.

Our cat had surgery today to remove a malignant mass on her leg. She is home and recovering but I just caught her with her collar off. Any tips from the vet ladies here on how to keep this dang thing on for the next two weeks?

I love how unashamed babies are. They just let it all hang out. Take me or leave me. And really couldn't care less about people's opinions of them. How liberating.
My feet grew! Today was the first day I wore non-sandal shoes since A was born. I have one pair of work appropriate shoes that fit. Everything else is too small.
So. Tired. Last night wasn't even bad. Just the normal 2 wakeups. But I'm so tired from never getting a full night of sleep. I think it's just building. I think tonight I'm going to go to bed when the kids do and not get up until they wake.
So... about that going to bed when the kids did... oops. But relaxing and drinks with MH is worth staying up for. 😊❤️🍺🍷

Oh no! My feet grew too but most of my shoes still fit. Only the smaller-ish ones don't fit anymore. Hope you can find some new cute, comfy shoes ASAP!

Did you try threading a cat collar through instead of the gauze? Cats are tough, sometimes we have to fashion a stockingette which is like stretchy fabric you can cut leg holes in, or a bandage.
Nope I can give that a try. Someone also told me to put a long tube sock on her leg but I don't know if that is good since she has staples in her leg.
I ran my hand through DDs head while putting her to bed.. and found a HUGE goose egg right on her incision. She doesn't remember hurting it, but it's tender. I'm doing my best not to freak out. DH isn't concerned at all.
Her skull is somewhere between 50-90% fused I'd imagine... they said 90%-100% at the one year mark, and were at 9 months.

Oh no! that would be so scary/upsetting. I don't blame you for being worried.
The amount of snot coming from DS is impressive. H asked me if I was going to bring him to the doctors tomorrow and I said probably not.
He doesn't have a fever, he's still nursing, peeing, etc. jsut a lot of snot, stuffiness, slight cough and lots of sneezing. Unless he spikes a fever I don't really think there is anything they would do?
k3am thinking of you. That would be concerning. T&P's everything is ok. teraiin I wouldn't take Cam in unless he spiked a fever. Humidifier, nose frida, saline solution, tilted mattress and hope for the best. FX he feels better soon! birkmmm I hope Ry feels better soon! Shots are rough but so worth it!

It's the relaxin from being preggo... mine did the same - annoyed my fave fall boots don't fit.

I suspect that they grew 1/4 size with each kid but it's only noticeable after two. My mom went up a half size with each of us.

This trick worked! Thanks for the tip, I probably wouldn't have thought of it otherwise.
