Well, mine hasn't been fun so far. I woke up at 4:45 feeling funny. So I got up to go to the bathroom, and anyways long story short I ended up throwing up. Idk what the issue is but I'm having pain in my upper tummy and mid-back which is worse when laying down. So my plan to sleep in since the toddler is gone is spoiled. I'm still going to be lazy and hope maybe I can fall back to sleep for another hour or 2. I'm feeling a little better since I threw up so at least there's a silver lining.
trtlcrzy, sorry you feel sick. Hope you are able to get some kind of rest today.
We didn't have a fun night either. DS had a dr appt that was during his usual nap time yesterday and it threw the whole day/night off. He was up several times overnight then he was up crying again at 5 am with poop and wouldn't go back to sleep after that. I'm dragging.

Ugh I hate when you get back pain with a stomach virus. It sucks. I hope you're feeling better soon.
Morning! Sorry you're sick trtlcrzy hopefully you can get a little rest and it'll pass quickly.
Since my daycare got sick last Friday and I wasn't able to get my stuff done, I kept it all waiting for today. So the kids are going to daycare and I'm going to try again! I'll be shampooing our living room carpet first thing. I have a shelf that I need to put together for one of our closets that I'll be reorganizing, as well as some other things around the house. Here's to hoping I get it all done!
Today is cloudy, rainy, and cold after three days of 80 degree weather. I'm thinking it will be a movie fest for the 3yo while I try to get some organization done around the house. We have a Halloween party at my church tonight. Kids can make crafts and eat pizza while wearing their costumes. That should be a good time.

Rough night! Seriously up every 2 hrs. I'm exhausted and still fighting this cold. As a silver lining, I dropped Magoo off for his 1.5 hrs daycare, he actually twisted out of my arms to go into his daycare workers! I was so happy! He really doesn't do that with people so I'm glad he likes her so much.

It is beautiful and sunny now, and we are forecast to hit 75 today. Rain is unlikely until the evening. This must be a really slow moving front because I don't think you are that far north of me.

Sorry you're not feeling well trtlcrzy. I hope it passes soon.
I swear I could have done a jig this morning when I woke up and realized it's Friday. It has been such a long week. My bff is coming to visit late tonight, so I'm really looking forward to this weekend with him.

I hope you feel better, trtlcrzy. Sorry your toddler-free plans were thwarted.
Our library books are due today, so we'll do that. Not sure what else, it's supposed to be a nice fall Friday! I need to exchange the butt-covering Target sweaters I got yesterday - too big.
Thanks guys. I was able to fall back to sleep a little bit after I posted that. I just woke up a little bit ago and am not feeling nauseous, I hope it stays this way. I'm going to be cautious about what I eat today either way. I have an appt scheduled for S at 10:30 and then around noon will be getting H back.
DD decided 5am was an excellent time to get up this morning. Luckily H let me sleep until 7 and he took her downstairs, then we switched and he went back to bed until he had to go to work. I'm hoping we'll lay down for an early nap soon. Judging by DD's behaviour/meltdown in Walmart earlier, she's ready. I just hope I can get DS down for one as well.

Magoo did 1.5 hrs at daycare and did the whole thing with no pacifier! He was a champ! I was so happy to see that when i picked him up. He was playing with the teacher and was all chatty. It's pouring out too, so no walk for us today. I think it's soup and Harry Potter this afternoon

This is maybe L's longest morning nap ever. She's been down for 2 hours. Of course this was the day we had somewhere to be...

I was so certain that we'd be able to make our 10:30 story time today, given the fact that he's been napping for 20 minutes a nap. An hour later....
Omg seriously. I laid her down at 9. Pleeeenty of time for a nap before the library at 1015. Well, here it is 11:25. Still sleeping. Who bodysnatched my kid?

morning ladies. trtlcrzy, i hope the sickness stays away for you. No fun having to Mom while feeling sick.
my friday morning is going pretty well so far. got to sleep in, then when i woke up i saw a mill side wagon on the BST that was just posted and snatched that up for $40 (insane!) MIL told me she wanted to get DD one for christmas. This one comes with the skis for winter too. So now we just have to buy the padding and maybe a canopy/wind screen. so jazzed

Clearly we should have things scheduled every day all the time (things we can easily cancel out of). We may become known as total flakes, but if it means babies napping, flake away.

When I first read this I didn't catch the second f and thought wow she is very open about having a bf haha. Got it now

I think (hope) we are about to get 2 bottom teeth. She has been cranky all week and today I can see them there. they just have to break through the gums. Hopefully she will get a little relief when they do
Okay. Rewatching GG, I totally hate how Jess wiggled his way in. Totally wrong. But I really love them together. It's an inside conflict as I watch the Jess episodes. Ha.

Lol, lilrubberduckie, I don't have the desire or stamina for a DH and a BF!
tkford216, I agree with you that Jess wiggling his way in was wrong, but I let it slide because I cannot stand Dean. Watching them reunite made me want to barf and I was so glad when it ended poorly again. Is that wrong? I'm most conflicted about whether I like Jess or Logan more. Yes, they both suck in their own way, but I'm a sucker for a bad boy. I am so nervous for how Rory's love life plays out in the new episodes. I'm also waaaaay to invested in this.
Apparently my MIL will be joining the party at my house tonight. Her water is out and DH can't get over to fix it until tomorrow. I made the unfortunate mistake of hesitating for five seconds when DH told me so I could work out sleeping arrangements in my head. Now DH is upset because he thinks I don't want to help his mother in her time of need. Dude may be on his man period because jumping to that conclusion was a bit dramatic.
piperhalliwell I'm not a fan of Dean either. I think he was a good first boyfriend for her, because he's nice and supports her and whatnot, but he should have remained that - first boyfriend and then left in the dust. I can't agree on Logan. I can't stand him either. I'm Team Jess 100%!
Also, the man period. Way worse than the woman period. Hahaha
This kid has a legit sense of humor today. He's copying things in a dramatic funny way, and making faces to get attention, and giggles to himself as he plays. It's hysterical.
