I believe in straight up yelling at my kid for running away from me in a parking lot, on the sidewalk, while getting in the car, etc. She can go to therapy for all the psychological damage I've caused her. It's better than being dead.
When DD1 was a baby there was an incident near by where a little girl got away from her mom in a pediatrician office parking lot, and (trigger warning?) was struck and killed by a doctor who was driving like 10 mph and but couldn't stop fast enough. That has haunted me ever since.

Yes, it definitely is. Running away and teasing the dog are the things I yell for.

Thanks everyone. I do feel comfortable with the daycare. The woman I picked him up from isn't normally in that room and it seemed like she'd had a long afternoon. But I am still struggling with leaving him and the exchange rubbed me wrong
Just got back from a vendor show with a friend. I'm glad I only took out $40 because I could have spent a fortune lol.
In the end I bought 4 new scentsy bars, some nice tea, a towel wrap for my hair, and got a demo for jam berry nails so I can decide if they're worth the price or not.
Scentsy had this advent calendar thing that was SO COOL. I Might see if my dad will go halfsies on it with me for my mom.
