I'm sorry things have been rough with DS lately, @enchanted. When does YH get back into town? Maybe he can watch the kids and you can sneak away for some 'you' time. Sounds like you deserve it!

Age: 3.5

Milestones: I can't think of any right now.

Challenges: The delaying bedtime. Her preferred method is screaming her damn head off and changing her mind every two seconds. She's been doing it the last few nights as a stall tactic. Last night was enough to make me walk away before I started yelling at her. I'm SOOOO over it.

Funny/cute stories: A few weekends ago I went for an overnight away with some friends, and J told everyone that asked, "Oh, Mommy's with the girls." I've been doing this for years, before J was born, so she knows when it's girls weekend, Mommy is MIA/do not contact LOL Then she said, "I'm havin' my own girls night with Niece!" (she had a sleepover the same night).

How are you? Okay. Annoyed with my Harry Half-Ass husband right now. Seriously, we have about 5 half-finished projects going on right now and I'm soooooo over the chaos. Start and finish something, then move to the next thing.

Anything else to share? Not really. Just trying to keep my head above water most days.

DS is 13 months

He's got the walking down pat. Pretty sure he'll be running in no time.

Lots of MOTN wake-ups this week. It's been ages since I've had to do any sort of comforting to get him back to sleep, but I was thisclose to having to the other night.

He crawls up and sits in my lap. Usually it's only for a few seconds before he realizes he wants to be up and moving, but last night it was for a solid 15-20 minutes.

I'm doing pretty well. DH started a new job Monday, and so far it's bringing him home waaaaaaaay sooner than the last one, so I'm enjoying the extra family time.

Milestones: more words, has learned to crawl

Challenges: walking. Still getting weekly services with CDS. He *can* walk, and has taken numerous steps but then he will plateu and not make any more progress for a while. I'm getting frustrated.

Funny/cute stories: when H went to pick LO up yesterday he was standing at the toy piano completely rocking out. Another LO came up and they danced together haha.

How are you? Good...getting over a sickness, totally not fun!
