After a ridiculous day, once I finally got showered, went out to get H medicine and ate food it was 10:00. Ben was up 40 minutes later and won't go back down.
I swear to all that is good, if H isn't better by tomorrow I'm going to lose my cool.
We are changing DS1's Ok to Wake Clock so it goes off at the new 6:45. Hope that works! And I'm putting the baby down a little bit later after a late nap so hopefully all of his wake ups will be pushed back. Not sure how his sleep is going to go tonight - he's currently nursing, moaning, farting, and tickling me under the arms (I'm so ticklish so that is driving me crazy) simultaneously.
And the big kid keeps coming out of his room and the baby is up after just an hour. I've been sick for over a week and just want to take NyQuil and sleep for 12 hours. One can dream.
Ugh, I hate this growth spurt/sleep regression. I feel like it's never going to end. Sam woke up about 40 minutes ago, ate, I put him down and ten minutes later he was crying so I'm now nursing again. Getting up every 2-3 hours wouldn't be nearly as frustrating if he hadn't been sleeping through the night/up once a night two weeks ago. Now every time he wakes up all I can think is "I know you can sleep longer than this, you were doing it for weeks!" ðŸ˜
He'll get there again mcktymck, just hope it's sooner rather than later for you!
DD1 was not fooled by me changing her Kid Sleep Clock. Up at the usual time, which is now 6:05 instead of 7:05. And Irene wasn't fooled either. I just want to see the other side of 7am if I am up 4+ times a night with the baby anyway.
