westiemom, I feel like babies are constantly peeing. I want to say I read somewhere they pee 30+ times a day?
DH asked if we should have her tested for diabetes since she pees so much. 😂🙄
Funny story.. our friend with the crazy anxiety.. well, we went on a camping trip with them, and her husband peed a couple of times in 3 hours. After drinking a lot, so totally normal.
DH and another friend were messing with her about how it's a sign of diabetes AND prostate cancer. Her.poor hubby ended up getting a prostate exam and diabetes testing the next week. To be fair, he knew what he was signing up for when he married her.
Howdy! Yesterday was a crap day with a poor weigh in, a missed long awaited for chiropractor appointment for DS2 for his tongue tie and latching and too much candy. Today was better though, with 2 2 hour naps, one of which I napped during, a reasonable amount of candy, an evening walk in the wrap and a homemade chai latte. I can't wait for bedtime now.

With donating milk, does it matter if I'm taking meds? Can I still donate milk? Or does the milk have to be med free? I don't know what to do with my milk that I have in the freezer since she won't take a bottle and it's just going to expire.

You can post it on HM4HB, but need to disclose what you were taking, possibly the dosage, and the recipients can chose if it's something they're comfortable with.
J is feeling a lot better after a morning of popsicles and kid's tv. I forgot the best part of having just the toddler around - the two hour midday nap. I joined him for a good part of it and still had time to pump and mess around on here while he slept.
I will seriously cry when DS stops taking a nap. I try so hard to get both kids napping at once every weekend day. I'm so amazed at what I can accomplish in even 20 minutes kid-free!

k3am, that sucks!! @led, I think most banks would reject the milk based on consumption of caffeine pills and klonopin. But especially klonopin bc one of the possible side effects to infants is Apnea. Caffeine itself (like in coffee) isn't an issue but depending on dosage of the pills, it could exceed limits.

I wasn't taking caffeine or Klonopin at the time. Just haldol. But I assume it's still an issue if anything is.
@led, I have the "medication and breastfeeding" bible at work and can check on that for you tomorrow.
DH comes back from NY tomorrow. I can't wait to see him, kiss him, hug him! Mostly, I can't wait to just sleep next to him as I just DON'T sleep as well when I'm "home alone" (with kids).
Also, I REALLY want a giant grilled cheese sandwich.

She's a crying fussy mess tonight. She is not having any part of me not holding her. H is trying his best to entertain her and she is just staring me down.

Sorry for the fussy baby. DS does this too. I swear the look he gives says "WTH are you doing clear over there?!"

Yeah DS won't let me put him down either. He's going to need to soon though cause I'm not going to sit up all night lol
@led, according to the med info I got from the milk bank I donate to donors aren't allowed to take anti-anxiety or anti-psychotic meds. They're very picky though because the milk goes to the most fragile babies. There's a 72 hour waiting period for Aleve for goodness' sake.
I feel like DD should be sitting better than she is. She just leans forward. She doesn't like to practice because she would rather roll around. I can't believe there are crawlers either. She doesn't even try that. I'm feeling like she is dropping behind or something. I keep telling myself all babies are different.

All you can do is encourage. The developmental screen that my clinic doors for six months just checks to see if they're propping themselves up with their arms. So you're still on track. Just not the front of the class, so to speak. I wouldn't worry.

Keep in mind some babies skip crawling too
DS is weird with sitting he will lean forward on his hands if I put him in that position but if I don't position him like that he just is content to try to balance. I've been practicing not steadying him as much just in case he wasn't leaning forward because he knew I'd "save" him.
