Just another day of the longest week ever. And the weekend is shaping up to provide no relief. Cam is sleeping longer at night but that also means he's up for the day at 5:30. I'm just so damn tired no matter when I go to sleep! I wish I could sleep until I wake up just once! Ok I'll stop complaining now.
Today is going to be weird at school. Usually we have our weekly school mass on Thursday. But since Tuesday was a Holy Day of obligation we had mass then. So Monday was Halloween, a crazy day. Tuesday we had mass and felt like Thursday. So yesterday felt like Friday. Today is going to be a weird feeling day lol

I would pay good money to be able to sleep until I wake on my own. I'm right there with you with the crappy sleep, but it's the big kid getting me up early.
In other news, my child has eaten more foreign objects than real food. Our list now includes: a paper envelope, a leaf, party streamers, thread, and an index card... to be fair, he only technically ate and digested two of those, but still... am I just particularly negligent? Or are your babies eating weird shit too?
I chalk part of this up to him almost surely teething? He is gnawing on everything in sight, touching his gummies all the time, random crying (which is really out of character for him) and wayyy more drooling.

Cam loves to try to eat the napkins and tissues while we're trying to wipe his face down lol He also likes dead leaves. And sticks that the dogs bring in!
Would you buy a car seat from Amazon Warehouse? The ones I'm looking at are listed as like new, in the original packaging but the packaging is damaged. In the past the stuff I've ordered from them has been fine and the packaging has been cut or torn, but nothing serious. I can return them if there is an issue but I wonder if I would be on the hook for shipping charges (I can't remember or find Amazon's return shipping policy).
Two sick kids! YAAAAAAAy!!!! snoris, my DS ate a dime! Came out in his poop! Add to that an entire muffin paper cup. This was my DS1. Wonder what goodies ds2 will eat up!

Used car seats make me super nervous! That might just be me though.

Omg I'm so tired. All night I kept rolling on to my back and would wake myself up snoring because of this stuffy nose. Then I would try and stay on my side but my BIOS would start hurting so I would end up on my back and start snoring again. I feel like I was up all night. And she had six wake ups on top of it all. Ugh. So sleepy.
Today is definitely going to be a lazy day. Hopefully I'll get lucky and R will decide to take one of her long naps today.

I don't think they are used, just that the outer packaging is damaged. I wonder how badly they would have had to have been tossed around for that to affect the integrity of the seat.
Another MOTY moment. The kids' school picture order is due today and I lost A's proofs. I called the photographer and he is emailing me new ones, but they don't assign names to the images so he has to search for them.
This is one reason I hate cleaning. We always end up needing something that gets tossed.

fishbulb I think sometimes they are opened because they were purchased and then returned as well. I would still buy from them though.
How are my babies 30 weeks old already? They will be seven months old in four days....
My husband took tomorrow off so we can try to get some cleaning done. Tonight we are going to see Dr. Strange with a group of friends. I say this while drinking coffee fron my funko pop Dr. Strange coffee mug.

I'm incredibly frustrated with MH right now. Last night we talked and he asked me what I needed to get out of my current funk. I told him I needed him to help more around the house - like say emptying the dishwasher once a day - and he gets defensive and says the most annoying phrase he knows, "I do stuff." Yes, he might help a little on the weekends but during the week it's 100% me. It absolutely infuriates me that I can't talk to him about needing help, even when he freaking starts the conversation!
Right now I'm working from home. He decided to "work from home" too. I'm grading homework and he's passed out on the couch. If he's not going to work like he said he was he could at least throw in a damn load of laundry.
fishbulb....I don't even consider buying school pics?! Also, that's when I would take the basket of laundry, toss it on his lap, and say..."here. Do stuff!"
Phew! I'm glad I'm not the only one with a kid eating weird stuff. I realize it's their natural way to explore, I just feel like I'm not watching him well enough when I catch him in the act.
What would you all suggest for outdoor play? I did have him on a daycare cot outside but he's reaching down to grab and eat leaves and grass and also needs more space to move now. A big blanket is good for dry weather, is there such thing as a waterproof blanket? Like waterproof on one side and comfy on the other? What do you do with your LO's outside? I have a new DC baby starting in 2 weeks so I'll need to have a safe solution for both babies! Plus snow... but toddlers NEED to run outside every day. Ideas?
snoris can you lay down a plastic tarp with a blanket over it? Or if you don't have one, a cheap plastic shower curtain liner would probably work just as well!

yes! I will fall back on this idea if there isnt a more elegant solution. Works though! I'll have to set it up in the morning. Can't believe in 2 weeks I'll be carrying 2 infants and wrangling 2 toddlers 😳👍🏽

At this point I'm too mad. I would probably throw the basket right on his junk. Then again we're done having kids anyway....
Woo hoo! My nanny sent me a pic of my very miserable baby. I opened it as we were all at this conference, eating lunch. They all told me to go home. So I'm home. He is indeed not happy! But I didn't have to sit in 2hr of traffic 2hr from now!

My milk supply sucks this week. I am not sure what to chalk it up to. I graciously offered to take a project off of my boss' hands. I didn't realize what a PITA it would be. Regretting it.
My facebook feed sure got quieter when I quit following a bunch of people who post nothing but political rants. I think I need to flood their feeds with baby pictures
