I haven't carried a purse in years; I have a wallet on a wristlet that I toss in the diaper bag (which is a backpack most of the time!) or my work bag when I'm working. We have a cube shelf by the front door and I keep it there with my sunglasses, which I can't function without, so I never forget those! When I went to the bar with my friends a few weeks ago I just threw my debit and ID in my pocket. And my keys are on a lanyard I wear around my neck (but not at the bar, ha ha!)
Busy day today, DH took the day off and we went Christmas shopping at a big mall. A couple hours in we realized that DS1 was exhausted and the sit 'n' stand stroller was just not cutting it for him so DH rented an extra stroller for ten bucks that had an "iPad" in it! Totally saved the day and bought us three more hours of shopping time! I would have paid triple that, so worth it.

A slept a total of maybe 2 hours today since 4:30am. FX he sleeps ok tonight.
I gorged on 4 slices of pizza and guzzled a beer 20 min ago and now settling in to bed already so I hope I sleep ok tonight. Ever since A, I get the worst heartburn.
Another for wallet in the diaper bag. Although I like what you do tootsie. I may have to try that out. I rarely bring the diaper bag (back pack) in anywhere anyway.
I carry a backpack diaper bag that weighs a ton everywhere. I rarely need much, but when I don't have something, that's when there's a poop explosion so I like to be prepared. When I go out with friends, I just throw my wallet in a purse.
H and DS1 are at Daniel Tiger tonight. So E and I went to Trader Joe's and are now chilling. Side note: I've been to several Trader Joe's (city and suburbs), and I swear their parking lots are always the worst ever! Small, crowded, chaotic. Anyone else?
Another side note: 3 year olds are the worst. We are going through major struggles with my older one. I ask him to do something, and he just glares and says "No." Ugh. I love him, but lately, I can't say I like him too much.
Sam hasn't pooped since Sunday. He's EBF so I know they say this can be normal, but he's never gone this long before. Prior to this he went three days in between and went on Sunday, but before these two longer times he's always gone either every or every other day. Is this something I should be concerned about? He has plenty of wet diapers, just no poop.
TJs parking lots are horrible rungirlrun! And I know you're from this area originally so you'll understand when I say I rank them up there with Wawa Parking lots

TJs and Whole Foods both have bad lots. Rich and fancy people packed like sardines. You know which lot is the best? My local bad neighborhood Aldi. The best. Huge spaces.

Yes on both accounts (although I do miss Wawa!). The worst in my opinion is TJ's on Market St. I enjoy TJ's, but that location gave me so much anxiety it wasn't even worth going.

If you're concerned, definitely call your pedi, but TBH it wouldn't phase me. However, both my kids would go over a week at this age without pooping. I think the last time B pooped was Monday.
Does he seem uncomfortable? If you gently put pressure on his lower abdomen does he seem in pain?

Not really but don't be afraid to call for things that might be silly if you feel something is off.
Do you have an exersaucer or jumperoo? We just put Mal in ours and I remembered that it's like an instant poop tool. Mal pooped after one minute. DD did that too.
melody330 every now and then he'll let out some gas and then cry, but aside from that he doesn't seem too uncomfortable. I wasn't that concerned about it until my mom and grandma were both "that's a long time to go without pooping!" Then again neither of them breastfed so that's probably part of it.
cabbagecabbage I just put him in his jumper so hopefully it helps! He's been straining on and off all morning so I'm hoping it's a sign he's getting ready to go.
