Went to the city with a friend and her 2.5month old today. Finally it myself a pair of fall boots, a black cardi, and a chambray shirt. Just made like a zillion outfits in my closet as flint slept. Feeling very put together and pretty!!!

Last night was my first work shift (I teach at a sip and paint place) and everyone survived! Mal took a bottle and slept two hours for my H! Hallelujah.
This morning he rolled belly to back twice in a row on purpose.
My mom is in town. I can't wait to get some free grandma babysitting and clean, work out, and shop alone.

ILs are coming today. Hold me.
I'm making lunch and FIL is on a restricted diet of only being able to eat meat, greens, and cheese () so I'm serving taco fixings and letting him dole out what he can eat.

madamewaffles tacos sound yummy. He could wrap up his taco fixings in a couple big lettuce leafs.
Just found out that my ILs will be back the first weekend in a December. Here I was thinking I wouldn't have to see them for 9 months or so and nope! I will have to deal with them very soon.
We went shopping yesterday and today we are cleaning and taking a trip to the library. I really need to figure BF S some new clothes since he is growing out of my current stash for him but that won't be happening this weekend.
Just waiting for H to get off work later and then we're doing our weekly grocery shopping. Super exciting stuff in this household! Also, Sam is currently nursing for the 8th time since midnight and it's only 9:30. Yesterday he had 14 total feedings, so I guess he's wanting to break that record...😭

mcktymck L feeds like crazy sometimes, it's really frustrating. Hopefully it's just a growth spurt and passes soon!
Spent the morning raking leaves in the yard. It is such a production getting everyone dressed to go out! Not looking forward to the winter! The yard looks good now, but in two days it will look like we did nothing since most of our trees are still full.
DS1 is napping and L is watching football with DH, so it looks like I have some time to myself!
littlesthobo since I became a mom, that is yet another reason to hate winter... dealing with hats, coats, socks, mittens etc is such a huge PITA! They are always lost, or wet, or thrown on the floor when you get home, and even kids who can dress themselves need help again. Arghhh! Not looking forward to that.
Idk who this baby is that I have today but he can stick around. He slept for 2 hours this morning and I just laid him down on my bed wide awake while I was dicking around in the closet, turned around, and he's out cold!
Ugh Irene has been so fussy. She learned to roll back to belly two days ago and now will not stop doing it. But then she gets upset because she doesn't want to be on her tummy. Throw in daylight savings time messing us up and today has been rough. She goes for a half day at daycare tomorrow for the first time. All I can say is good luck to them.
Flint is officially in 6mo pants. Holy moly kiddo.
Also - I had a dream last night that I bet in a horse race and picked the long shot and won 2.9 million dollars.
I could really use 2.9 million dollars.
DH was saying how he was tired from getting up at 6 the past three days for SS1s hockey tournament. Tell me more about your three consecutive nights of 8hr uninterrupted sleep.
I'm really disappointed in ss1. His team sucks. He got frustrated and benched himself for the last half of the third period because he didn't want to play anymore. We easily spend $6000 per winter on his hockey. I told him if he ever pulled that crap again he wouldn't be playing hockey next winter. We've got other stuff that money/time could be spent on

ellebelle I hope everything goes well for Irene tomorrow!
cavewmn nice job with the Christmas shopping! I made a huge dent in mine on Friday and I'm excited. My Pottery Barn stockings came arrived too! I'm hoping to bake one batch of cookies per week to freeze so I'm not crazy baking one week out.
DS1 has had a cough all week and a couple of times has mentioned wanting to go see the doctor. But every time he mentioned getting a lollipop and playing with the fire truck in the waiting room, so I dismissed it. Twice today he's been inconsolable screaming about pain in his ear/mouth. Calling to make an appointment tomorrow. Poor guy!
I'll just say it. Daylight savings can fuck right off. I'm not a fan of AZ at all (my apologies to anyone who lives there), but the only time I think it might be tolerable is duirng DST.
