I confess, I've lost my patience a few times in the last two weeks with the lack of sleep while on this trip. Also, I've let my mom makes all of DS's food, & totally lost my shit trying to pack yesterday (came with one checked bag, leaving with two). Nothing totally flame worthy I guess, but I'm a pretty boring lady.

So as you all know, I had to pick DD up from the sitter yesterday. She did pretty well once I got her home and slept pretty well too. But my FFFC is that I'm keeping her home today and milking a day off from work.
Mind you, I do think it's a good idea for her to have a nice long weekend to feel better. But I def probably could've sent her today.
I have used my husbands phone number a few times filling out forms online and whatnot when I was afraid I'd get telemarketer calls. I had to change my number a couple years ago because I used to get so many calls, and he still has his phone number from our old area code. So I figure he needs to change his number anyway, right? Well this week he started complaining that he's gotten so many calls. Oops!

My breakfast, this morning, consisted of a dark chocolate Lindt truffle, a cherry JollyRancher sucker, and a glazed donut from Holtman's. The donut was still warm...mmmmmmmm
mrscatfarmer13 and jmebormann yummy breakfasts! The warm donut sounds awesome, I miss Krispy Kreme hot donuts. ladytiffany24 no shame in that! At least you are staying home with dd I took off Tuesday feeling a little sick but took her to grandmas house so I could go home and sleep uninterrupted.
DD is getting her first cold I think. Running nose and eyes, lots of sneezing and several coughing fits. No temperature though. I know my gut will tell me when to make a pedi apt; but what are your all's general recommendations?

narbuckle01 first time dd got a runny nose I freaked out and called pedi. They said as long as she doesn't have a fever just the runny nose then it should clear up on its own. DDs got the runny nose right now too. I just use saline drops, suck the snot and run the cool most humidifier in her room. HTH.
Holtman's is amazing! vlagroupie it is in OTR, right next to The Eagle! Which if you haven't been there, you definitely need to make a night out of it. Fried chicken with donuts for dessert... mmm, I might have to change my Valentine's Day plans to that.

I think they have a location in Loveland, which would be closer to those in the Mason area.
We have a sitter tonight and no plans! The extent of our planning was a couple weeks ago when we decided not to go out to a nice (expensive) restaurant like we usually do because we did that last weekend. So we said maybe we'll see a movie and go somewhere like Red Lobster or Olive Garden. Then last night we figured out there are no movies that we want to see in the theater right now. So I have no idea what we're going to do.
The rest of the weekend we have a to-do list that includes installing cabinet locks and shopping for a car seat. Such fun.

We weren't planning on doing anything. My mom offered to babysit since my dad needs to fly out for business Saturday morning. IDK though, everywhere is going to be packed and we both hate dealing with crowds. I have a feeling we'll end up watching a movie and having some sexy time. I'm going to a Pure Romance party tonight, maybe I'll pick something up for us.
Unrelated to V-day.
Has anyone ever made/had champagne jello shots? I thought about doing something like these for the bachelorette party next weekedn, but didn't know if they were good or not.

Never had those, but drunk gummy bears are good. Soak the Bears in vodka for a day or two and then in fruit juice. Or some combination and stir often. Very tasty and the juice hides the vodka flavor.

Definitely don't have any plans For valentine's day. The thought of going out when it's on a Saturday scares me. We'll probably stay home and cook a big dinner or something, maybe netflix.
No plans here today. DH has to work, so I'll just be unpacking and tidying up. Maybe I'll be brave and go do groceries.
Completely random - I created a sticky thread last night, you've probably seen it if you're on desktop, but those of you using the app, make sure you go to "stickies" at the top of the forum and check it out.
EDIT: Just realized that even though I made it sticky, it still shows up as a regular thread as well. Nothing to see here... move along.
