I am thirsty, too. I had 3 fillings done this morning all on different parts on my mouth. So. Much. Novocain. I can finally feel enough of my lips and tongue to sip my water.
Guys. GUYS. I think (I say this while knocking on wood approximately one million times) that we might be finally turning a corner with Sam. Yesterday was the first time that he didn't have a meltdown to the point where he refuses to nurse and just screams for hours AND he only woke up once last night!

I am going to stop at the liquor store after work...as its a holiday for me tomorrow so I think a beer or 2 is in order after the kids are sleeping tonight.

Big kid is at preschool. I'm currently putting E down for a nap. Then I plan on working out, working on Shutterfly calendars for the grandparents, and doing some serious cleaning. I'm sick of the mess that my house is always in so time for major purging. If it's not a favorite toy, it's out of here. Artwork that was made months ago is gone. We have way too much crap.
Doing laundry, paying bills, cleaning, getting a cat or two today. Depends on if the two I like are still there or not.
Humane society got 6 dozen cats from a hoarding situation. So they aren't comfortable around humans. Most will probably end up garage or barn cats. Luckily this is a no kill shelter.
Guys, my baby is napping somewhere other than my arms for the first time in 2 months. I feel so free. Like I could actually get things done and pay attention to my big kid. It's a freaking miracle.
She is in her MM suit and wedged into her car seat. My DD1 would only nap sitting in the car seat at this age and we let it go on way too long (like, til she was 6 or 7 months) and it was a terrible habit to have to break and I swore I would not start that again.
But omg worth it. I spent 4 hours sitting on the couch holding a napping baby yesterday and felt so utterly useless.

I feel you on this BIG TIME. I feel like every time I turn around there's something else needing to be picked up. Get all the clutter off the kitchen counters and there's a basket full of laundry that needs to be put away. And then all of a sudden the counter is a mess again, or the sink is full of dishes. It's a never ending messy cycle 😭 If we suddenly came upon money the first thing I'd do is hire a weekly cleaning service haha

Once kids are in preschool, half of parenting is throwing things away on the down low. I get a minimum of 2 sheets or projects a day from school. They're all "special."
I'm wearing a napping baby. It's the first nap over 20 minutes all week. No clue if it's the time change, teething, a wonder week or everything combined.

My mil really wanted a garage cat. I didn't realize that was a thing until she got one. She likes cats and wanted one around to take care of the voles, but my bil & possibly my nephews are allergic. The cat she got ended up being too social and kept wandering off to the neighbors', plus they had hawks around and were worried about her getting picked up.

Hey ladies! My kids are both sleeping. I just folded 4 loads of laundry. Tomorrow and Saturday I'll be doing a major house clean. I'm hosting an in home Lularoe party at my house! I have like 15 people coming!

I hear you on the clutter. I feel like I could clean so much faster and have time for other things if I didn't have to pick everyone's crap up first. I've been working on slowly purging and drop off a box of stuff every week. I've already gotten rid of the clothes L has outgrown and can't wait until we can get rid of the bigger baby items!

The clutter is terrible. And it's so hard to even find time to pick up because I'm holding the baby 80% of the day. I'll be glad when the big baby gear is gone, but after that I know once she can walk there will be 649 random toys littered in every corner of the house.
So we got two cats. Sadly one bit the lady getting him in a carrier. They didn't realize until we left. He will be by himself for 10 days.
The other got way up high on a tv. Hopefully they will catch him tomorrow morning and we can bring him home. Luckily we aren't using the nursery because that is where the second one will be for 10 days.
We have a long road to go with these guys.
They use to be called Flamingo and Sparrow. New names will be Hercule and Hastings.
